Implant dentistry is complex. There are many variables that can
alter the result and longevity of implant restorations.
This course will address many variables including:
Monitoring the health of dental implants –what you must do
Disease mechanisms associated with peri-implantitis
Occlusion on implants
Screw mechanics – how to tighten a screw to optimize preload – calibrating your torque wrench
Ceramics and implants –what is true and what is not
Titanium metal modifications – colorizing titanium

About the Speaker
Dr. Wadhwani is in full time private practice in Bellevue, Washington. He
received his dental degree from the University College of London School of
Dentistry and a Masters degree and certificate in Prosthodontics from the
University of Washington. Chandur is an Affiliate Assistant Professor in
Prosthodontics at the University of Washington and Loma Linda University
Dental Schools. He is also an Affiliate Associate Professor in Periodontics at
Oregon Health Science University. He was awarded Distinguished Lecturer in 2018 by the American College of Prosthodontists.
Dr. Wadhwani has published numerous articles and books (over 50) on
Esthetic and Implant Dentistry in Peer Reviewed journals, and has presented
on aspects of Implant Dentistry and Advanced Prosthodontic procedures both nationally and internationally.
