An international conference to commemorate the birth centenary of Professor S. Chandrasekharwill be held during December 7-11, 2010 at the Indian Institute of Astrophysics, Bangalore.The conference will focus on areas in which Chandrasekhar worked. Topics include: stellar structureand evolution, stellar dynamics, stellar and planetary atmospheres, astrophysical fluids and plasmas, compact objects and general relativity and black holes.
