CHANCELLOR SECONDARY CAMPUS FUTURE FACILITIES REVIEW SITE OBSERVATONS: Student population expected to reach 2300 by 2020 (currently 1852) Future proosed facilities include: • 8-10 GLA’s (680m2) New Resource building to make way for reinstatement of staff offices and administration facilities • New / additional SEP to suit growing student numbers (currently 180/190 students on campus with 3 high special needs which require feeding area and dedicated DDA amenities. • Additional amenities to suit population increase. • Future community hall for 1000 student capacity (suits Middle school func- tions). Note 1900 student capacity would be required for entire secondary school to congregate. • Covered outdoor learning areas to be maximised where possible. Possible new kiss and go facility to spread traffic load across site. Other consideratons: Future soccer futsal playing field and touch footballs to be considered to northern site allotment. • Possible overpass connection over Sippy Down Drive (via future kiss and go provisions) to this site. • Manual Arts building could easily be extended • Site option 4 has site levels prepared for new building.
