Purpose behind educational tour:

Educational tour had a major educational element, but along with it exploring to

the nature environment and refreshment from hectic classroom training from

competitive exams study. The aim behind conducting an Educational tour was

giving students the chance to build closer bonds with their classmates,

experience new environments and enjoy a day away from the classroom, and to

enhance their hidden skills and talents.

Visit to Mr. Annaji aimed at to utilise his experiences that allow students to

apply their lessons to the real world, and when they will be future bureaucrats

then to executive their strong decision making skills. We tried to make this

educational tour to the most memorable moments of a student's career.

Visit to Nighoj (for the view of Natural pot holes) provide an opportunity to the

students for total immersion in the natural environment and social setting. On

such excursions, the student practices his social skills and critical thinking

abilities outside of the controlled class setting.

Pre planning and Preparation:

Success of every event is depends on the strong planning and coordination. So

we have given maximum time and used highest resources to plan the

educational tour for our students.

Following are the factors that had been taken into consideration.

1. Selection of Location:

It is very important from the prospect of all the essential aspect as part of

curriculum, education, inspirational and motivation. Keeping all the

factors in mind we have decided to go to meet Annaji at Raleagaon

siddhi “The Aadarsh Gram”then Nighoj to see natural Pot holes and in

the beauty of nature Chincholi Morachi to explore all the students with

nature.

1. Timing :

As we had to consider the hostel in timing of girls, we planned one day

trip from 7.00 am to 8.00 pm.

2. Finalising date and day:

As we had to consider weekend as well as regular students for the trip so

after consulting all the students we had finalised 13th

Oct 2014

3. Bus booking:

After taking final nomination we have book the very comfortable bus of

50 seats and given names to RTO with application and taken permission.

4. Appointment with Annaji:

As Annaji had very tight schedule so Centre head had taken various

follow ups for fixing the appointment and for student interaction session.

5. Arrangements for Breakfast and meal:

To give the best experience for meal we have searched various different

resto and places, finally taken them to the place with highest degree of

hospitality and best Maharashtriyan food experience in the lap of the

nature.

We are very glad to get opportunity to here Annaji for 90 Minutes.

Annaji said there should not be difference between doing and saying. He

addressed student, that if you want to bring the change or revolution in the

system then you have to bring change in yourself then your family your village

your district and eventually there will be change in the system of the country.

Anna said when you will be future IAS, IPS don’t just perform your duty but

take the vision of selfless service for the society.

Anna said don’t consider the IAS or IPS as part of your work but just explore

yourself to all the horizons of Civil services.

Activities and Games:

Fun and entertainment activities undertook for all the students .One minute

games, passing the parcel.

In order to enhance their creativity, coordination, team spirit and leadership

group activity had organised.5 group has differentiated each contained 10

members.

Feedback from the students:

Students were very satisfied with the place selected by the management for ET.

They are overwhelmed with the most inspirational speech by Annaji. Student

loved the journey and enjoyed at beauty of rock erosion pot holes. They loved

the hospitality that had been taken care with the best food served at Morachi

Chincholi. They also had ride of bullock cart first time. They got motivated

through various team sprit games and had fun and joy with different activities.

This was the learning as well as fun oriented trip for all of them where they had

developed close bonding with all the classmates and staff as well. Various inner

hidden skills like leadership, creativity, acting, etc. came out during this trip. It

was unforgettable experience for all of them. They have requested to go for

similar educational tour on regular basis and had shown their sincere gratitude

towards The Chanakya IAS Academy, Pune Centre.
