your business has any information that you would like us to share with your fellow Chamber

here for you and your business and whatever we can be of assistance with, please reach out to us,

we are here to help!

Please email Jill a short video about your business, 2-3 minutes in length taken on either an

iPhone or Android. We are working on putting this information out to the community.

Also, continue sending the Chamber ads for our social media pages. We will continue posting and

sending those out for your business.

Dear Fellow Chamber Members,

This month I am not writing to you as the Chairman or even a fellow chamber member, I

am writing to you as a neighbor, a friend and a “Lisle area family member.” While we have

all been asked by our government leaders to practice social distancing, now more than ever

we need to come together to support each other during these difficult times. Certainly, we

are challenged to think about how we can come together but let’s start with a common goal

– to ensure our chamber member businesses remain strong.

To start driving towards this common goal I believe we need to think differently. As the

community counts on us to provide goods and services, albeit through different means –

delivery, pick-up, etc. – we must count on each other. Within our chamber we have a wide

variety of businesses and I would encourage the members to look at potential ways to team

together – restaurants using advertising/media businesses for any print materials or any

business use local industrial supply and service businesses for cleaning needs. I am

confident there are many more opportunities for our members to work together. I am

confident that if we think differently and work together as a team then we will remain

strong.

The very best in all of us will shine through and we will get through this TOGETHER! To

close, I hope you and your families are safe and healthy.

Dear Members,

These are challenging times for businesses, families and

community. We thank our essential business owners for

staying open, we thank our police and fire departments for

always being there when we need them. We thank medical

staff putting their lives on the line for others. We thank our

teachers for creating new and safe learning platforms. We

thank the community that is not stuck at home but you are

safe at home.

The Lisle Area Chamber of Commerce has been

communicating with our Members through E-blasts,

Facebook, Instagram and Twitter. We have posted new

content about opportunities for our businesses from

Federal, State and Small Business Association (SBA)

programs on our website so check there for updates. Many

of our restaurant and retail businesses have curb-side pick-

up, delivery and online gift cards available. We have

postponed all events until further notice, but that doesn’t

mean we can’t help showcase your business. Please email

us a social media ad. We also would like you to send us

short video from your business about your business. The

short video could be an online “how-to” cook, paint,

network or any specialty you can offer. We can link to

your website from this video. Our LINCT committee has

already had one virtual meeting. Watch your e-mails for

next LINCT virtual meeting.

So, now for the time being we will continue to help you

promote your businesses remotely. Remember to check

out our Member-to-Member discounts page on our

website. If you would like us to add your business please

let us know.

PHOTO CONTEST

The Lisle Area Chamber of Commerce is in the process of preparing the 2020-2021 Lisle Area

Chamber Member Directory and Community Profile which is mailed out to all members,

distributed door-to-door to 10,000 single family homes in Lisle and available at the Lisle Village

Hall, Lisle Park District, Sheraton Lisle, Doubletree by Hilton Lisle Naperville, Hyatt Lisle, Lisle

Township, Lisle Savings Bank and Lisle Library.

Do you have a favorite picture of Lisle in your photo archives? Email it in high resolution to enter

our 1st time ever photo contest for the front cover of the 2020-2021 Member Directory and

Community Profile. Please submit the high resolution photo to jill@lislechamber.com

The deadline for photo submission is Friday, May 29, 2020.

If your photo is selected for the cover, you will win a gift card to one of our Lisle Area Chamber

members' businesses. Your photo will also receive a photo credit in the directory.

The photo should be in high resolution, 300dpi minimally 7" wide by 10" tall.

Ambassador SpotlightDebbie Pawlowicz of Debbie Pawlowicz Group -

RE/MAX Action

This month's featured Ambassador is Debbie Pawlowicz of Debbie Pawlowicz

Group, RE/MAX Action. Debbie has been a member with the Chamber for over

3 years. In addition to the Ambassador Committee, Debbie is on the Government Affairs

Committee and the LINCT Committee (Leadership In Networking Committee Team). She also

helps and volunteers with other Committees and events. Debbie enjoys being an Ambassador

because she enjoys the other members on the Committee and it is a great way to meet the new

members of the Chamber and community. She believes that it is also our responsibility to support

theses businesses as it is her hope they will support ours.

Debbie is a Real Estate Broker with RE/MAX Action in Lisle and has been in this field for 30

years. She helps people buy and sell properties. In addition to being involved with the Chamber,

she is on the Board of Directors for the Mainstreet Organization of Realtors.

Debbie lives in Lisle and has 4 grown children, with the youngest graduating from college this

year. She loves entertaining at her home, whether large or small gatherings. Debbie also loves to

listen to audio books while on her way to appointments. In addition, she also really enjoys

volunteering and going out in the Lisle community. Debbie's favorite quote is "I'm a great believer

in luck. The harder I work, the more luck I have."

Annual Dinner Dance, Dancing with theChamber Stars

An Evening in Paris, Ooh La La Lisle

The Annual Dinner Dance, Dancing with the Chamber Stars, An Evening in Paris, Ooh

La La Lisle took place on Friday, March 6, 2020 at the DoubleTree Hilton Lisle

Naperville. The Dancing with the Chamber Stars dance competition was a fierce battle

for the trophy. This year's competitors were Kimberly Novovesky, BankFinancial with

partner Nick Rodriguez of Sterba's Dancesport; Gordon Shultes, Rotary Club of Lisle

with partner Liz Awotwi of Celebrity Dance Studio; Dr. Lauren Brammeier,

Brammeier Family Dental with partner Tom Sterba of Sterba's Dancesport; Hector

Colon, JCMP & Associates, P.C. with partner Zorana Karanovic of Sterba's

Dancesport; Lisa Spaeth, West Suburban Community Pantry with partner Kyle Rath of

Celebrity Dance Studio; and Trevor Ryan, Marquette Companies with partner Paulina

Struk of Sterba's Dancesport. Congratulations to Trevor Ryan and Paulina Struk for
