CHALLENGER AT A GLANCE

Bombardier also manufactures the GlobalExpress and the Challenger business jet.

The slogan was changed in 2012 from “We Move People” to “Evolution of Mobility.”

In 1986, Bombardier acquired Canadair.Shortly thereafter, de Havilland Canada, and Learjet operations were absorbed by the aerospace arm, which now accountsfor over half of company revenue.

Bombardier’s most popular aircraft currently include its Dash 8, CRJ100/200/440, and CRJ700/900/1000 lines of regional airliners, as well as the CL415 amphibious water-bomber.

Bombardier is a Canadian multinational aerospace and transportation company, founded in 1942 in Quebec.

Starting as a maker of snow machines, over the years it has become a largemanufacturer of regional aircraft, business jets, mass transportation equipment, recreational equipment and a provider of financial services. Bombardier is a FortuneGlobal 500 conglomerate company. Its headquarters are in Montreal.

DESCRIPTION

All interior components and materials are selected for quality, durability and ease of maintenance with weight as a consideration.

The Aircraft is equipped with one (1) baggage compartment, located aft of the lavatory area, accessible by both an interior and an exterior door.

The interior baggage bulkhead door is hinged on the LH side and opens into the lavatory. This door provides unlimited in fl ight access. This door is acoustically sealed along the edges to reduce sound transmission.

The forward side of the bulkhead and door is fi nished in wood veneer, and the aft side is fabric covered.

An exposed threshold is installed between the baggage compartment and the lavatory compartment beneath the baggage bulkhead door.

Pilot and co-pilot reclining seats (adjustable vertically and longitudinally) are sheepskin covered, shoulder harness and inertia reels.
