Hello!! We represent the Challenge Paguera Mallorca, we have recently joined the Challenge family and we are here to stay.
On October the 18th 2014 we will be celebrating the 1st edition of the Half Challenge Paguera and we will be doing so by harbouring nothing less than the ETU´s Half distance European Triathlon Championship.
WE ARE HERE!!
The four characteristics that define the Paguera Challenge are:
1.-‐THE ENVIRONMENT
Competing in paradise, Mallorca is just that. More specifically, Paguera, surrounded by the most beautiful coves and beaches, and at the foot of the Tramuntana Sierra (one of UNESCO´s Heritages to Humanity).
Paguera offers the perfect mediterranean climate, with more that 300 sunshine filled days with ideal temperatures to train and compete all year round.
Competitors will not only enjoy the day of the race, their stay will be magical.

The cycling segment departs from Paguera and continues through to Capdella, a beautiful traditional town. The descent through Son Pillo takes competitors through the tourist areas of Palmanova, Magalluf, El Toro, Santa Ponca and back to Paguera, following the coast line.
Two laps of this circuit complete the cycling segment, it is fast, with a low inclination percentage and a maximum hight of 151 m.
WHAT DIFFERENTIATES THE CHPAGUERA?
Last but not least, the running segment of the triathlon elapses entirely through the neuralgic center of Paguera. Four laps which alternate between the concurred boulevard and the maritime broadwalk that join the Tora, Els Morts and La Romana Beaches, some of the most impressive coastal views in Mallorca. The finish line will be situated at the plaza which joins the beach with the boulevard, the heart of Paguera.
