Meeting stiles for tongue and grooved matchboarded doors
• The meeting stiles should be rebated to the centre for flush closure
• A smaller rebate on each side will give a feel of symmetry and balance to each stile

French doors • Can be made up from most standard single doors though each individual door is usually narrower in width than a standard door.
• Benefits: – Let larger amounts of light through– Accommodate access for large
number of people– Reduce bottle necks.
