Question - Can a local regulator create an organization for a business?

Answer – Yes, local regulator signs into business portal and creates the organization.

Regulator signs into ‘Business Portal’ (production)

Selects ‘Tools’ in the top tool bar

Select Create CERS Business/Organization (no facility added)

Completes the ‘Organization Name’, ‘Headquarters’, ‘Origin’, ‘My Regulator’ fields, selects ‘Save’

Once the ‘Organization’ is created sign into the ‘Business Portal’ and transfer the facility into the newly created ‘Organization’.

Select the ‘Facilities’ tab and locate the facility/CERS ID

Select ‘Manage Facility’

Select ‘Transfer Facility’

Enter the ‘Organization Name’ and Headquarters’ (previously created in the ‘Business Portal’)

Select ‘Search CERS Organization’

‘Save’
