1. You create the coil, by rollingthe clay with the palm of your
hand. In the air or on the table.Then attach each coil on top of thenext coil by scoring the coil, withxxxs and ////s.
2. Always apply even pressure with both hands when smoothing theinside surface. Use your hand or aspoon.
3. You will create some type of designon the outside of your piece. By usingappliques (applying shapes) or usingsgraffito (a tool to carve a texture
pattern).
