Incorporated in 1920 Wernert Pumpen has always been at the forefront of pump innovation having developed the first plastic centrifugal pump back in 1927. Since then, Wernert have become word leaders in the manufacture of plastic lined pumps.

Part of the Weir group, Wemco Pumps are based in France and has specialised in solid handling pumps since 1953. Their product range is centred around the use of unique vortex impellers and abrasion resistant materials that allow their pumps to transfer solid ladened and abrasive liquids.

Now part of SPX, Waukesha Cherry-Burrell has a long history in the food, dairy, beverage and industrial process industries. Known for its exceptional quality and precision made components, the Waukesha Cherry-Burrell brand is synonymous with pumps designed for use in hygienic applications.

The oldest pump manufacturer in Italy tracing it’s routes back to 1889, Gruppo Aturia employs overs over 250 people at it’s four manufacturing facilities in Italy and France. The group manufactures pumps for the utilities, process and oil/gas sectors and has recently absorbed the entire workforce of Caster Pumps.

Tracing it’s history back to 1904 and now part of PSG, Finder Pompe have become major players in the production of process pumps. The Finder Group have experienced particular success in the Oil/Gas Sector and now boast an extremely large portfolio of API compliant pumps.

Established in 1875 Hermetic have been manufacturing canned motors since 1951 and remain the leading European canned pump manufacturer. Based near Freiburg, Germany Hermetic operate in the Oil/Gas, Power Generation and Chemical Process industries having supplied over 180,000 units around the world.

Ever since Paul Bungartz invented the frictionless pump back in the 1930s, Bungartz have specialised in the design and manufacturer of problem solving pumps. The core concept is their unique hydrodynamic/expeller sealing principle, which allows their pumps to self regulate their flow and therefore cope with varying suction conditions and ultra low NPSHa.

We hold a comprehensive range of spring-loaded and cartridge mechanical seals in stock. We have the in-house facility to re-lapp seal faces and re-condition highly expensive mechanical seals.

Pump Repair and Maintenance

AxFlow offer a complete maintenance and repair service on any pump brand or type, either on site or at our own service facilities. Our in depth knowledge of pumps allows us to analyse modes of failure and make recommendations to improve pump reliability. Planned maintenance such as vibration analysis and condition monitoring can be undertaken by us on a regular basis to reduce the chances of unexpected failures in critical equipment.
