HDA’s centralised multiroom AV systems maximise the use of all entertainment devices while enabling smarter, neater living spaces. Anybody can move be-tween rooms but still access all their favourite shows, movies and recordings on every TV and easily control them from their mobile device. Providing the most fluid and flexible TV viewing experience, without losing a single pixel of picture quality - even at premium 4K Ultra HD resolutions.

For 2017 we have embraced emerging smart home control options, such as voice control and apps. With the release of the uControl universal IR remote app we made the matrix a far more useful system component. Open API access and ready-made drivers also demonstrates our continued commitment to providing the easiest integration for professionals.

We strongly believe that in-home entertainment systems are the gateway to homeowners adopting a wider range of smart home products and services. We are looking forward to working closely with more AV professionals and smart home designers to help continue to grow the market.

Control is important. It is the bridge between user and machine. HDANYWHERE uControl is the first app of its kind combining source and display control into one clever IR remote app. It requires zero programming knowledge and is free to download from App and Play Stores.

U C O N T R O L A P P

Unique to HDA, MHUB 4K PRO matrix systems incor-porate a patent-pending in-tegrated IP2IR gateway and routed controller.

When used in conjunction with the uControl universal IR remote companion app, it is possible to control the cen-tralised AV multiroom system and all the sources and TVs connected to it, over WiFi with a mobile device instead of multiple remotes.

uControl is program-ming-free and super simple to setup, offering all the con-trol needed for most AV sce-narios in every room of the whole-home system.

Once downloaded to a mo-bile device, it syncs with MHUB within seconds. Us-ers can then choose which source they want to watch and where, with all the vari-ous functions for each device shown on screen, including TV functions with familiar button layouts and gesture control. uControl can also be personalised with user-set-table background images for each zone/room and light and dark themes.

Because of MHUB 4K PRO’s much wider built-in IP2IR control ability, controlling in-room AV within the home with your voice is made a lot simpler than with rival systems. There is no need to add additional controllers or use long con-voluted sentences.

Short sentences can trigger multiple actions, that will for example: turn on the TV, switch to the right source con-nected to the MHUB and then jump to exactly the desired channel all by just simply saying “Alexa, watch BBC News” when you walk into the room.

Control drivers IP/RS232 or IR can be used to control the matrix should you wish to not use MHUB’s native control method. All major systems are supported and are all free-of-charge to download.

Control & IntegrationSupports discrete backwards IR from every zone and point-to-point forwards IR to the three/six long-range zones. The package includes all transmitter and receiver dongles re-quired to enable full control over all matrix-connected HDMI sources and all screens.

Control of the matrix routing can be performed via 2-way RS232, TCP/IP, IR or the front panel source toggle buttons. Ready-made drivers are available for all major control sys-tems free of charge. The ‘AVR IR’ port is for integrating IR control for AVRs in addition to the source devices.

The perfect companionDesigned for use with MHUB 4K PRO multiroom AV systems, four analogue inputs connect directly to the zone outputs, each featuring an adjustable lip-sync delay. MHUB’s on-board software, DASH, can then detect and sync all settings instantly. No setup required.

Digital and analogue soundIncorporating four stereo 50 watt amplifiers, each with controllable-volume, input level adjustments, standby, two-band HF and LP EQ. Utilising high-efficiency SM power sup-plies for the digital elements, whilst the critical analogue audio paths use linear regulation to provide very low noise with a great dynamic range.

Not just for TV audioTwo additional digital optical or COAX inputs are available accepting S/PDIF signals for the easy connection of other audio and music sources, such as a Sonos Connect, Google Cast, LODE LA1, Denon HEOS etc. ControlControl can occur via either the IR link, serial commands or via IP. It can be used ‘straight out of the box’ with MHUB 4K PRO following its source commands via a loop-throughIR link. XTND is a range of lightweight aluminium HDMI extenders are divided into two subcategories; 2K (FHD 1080p) and 4K (UHD 2160p)

1. XTND 2K (30)Extends a 1080p HDMI signal up to 30m over Cat6 cable, with local HDMI out for distribution to a second nearby dis-

play. Uses single-wire technology and supports TX>RX PoE, as well as backwards IR for control of the extended source device.

2.XTND 2K (40)Delivers a 1080p HDMI signal up to 40m over Cat6 cable, with local HDMI out for distribution to a second nearby dis-play. Supports two-way IR and requires 5V power supplies for both the TX and RX. The display receiver can alternatively be powered by an optional USB to 5V power lead, providing TV model supports this functionality. ARC is available on the receiver for integration with in-room AVRs and soundbars.

3.XTND 4K (40) A HDBaseT Class-B HDMI extender that delivers 4K60 8bit

4:2:0 (SDR) and 4K24/30 10bit 4:2:2 (HDR) up to 40m and 1080p up to 70m over a single Cat6 cable, with HDR sup-port, HDCP 2.2, two-way IR and bi-directional PoE that al-lows choice of either the transmitter or receiver to be PSU powered. 4.XTND 4K (100) A HDBaseT 2.0 Class-C HDMI extender with long-range mode, two-way IR and ARC on the transmitter for audio ex-traction to rack-based AVRs. Sends 4K60 8bit 4:2:0 (SDR) and 4K24/30 10bit 4:2:2 (HDR) up to 100m and 1080p up to 150m over a single Cat6 cable. Audio extraction is also achieved via digi coax. Bidirectional PoE enables you to power the re-ceiver from the transmitter or vice versa, and two-way ste-reo audio is also supported.

5.XTND 4K MAX (100) 18Gbps over HDBaseT with TPCFor the first time Tipping Point Compression (TPC) is utilised to enable transmission of HDMI 2.0 ‘Max 4K’ 18Gbps 4K60 8bit 4:4:4 or 4K60 10bit 4:2:0 (HDR10) content down HDBa-seT’s constricted 10.2G pipe using very-light compression, meaning there is no human-perceivable difference in video quality whilst TPC is active. Groundbreaking because the compression algorithm only becomes active when the input signal data rate tips over the 10.2G threshold (which in real-ity, isn’t very often) - hence ‘tipping point’.
