10.0 GENERAL BUSINESS

10.1 *SQ want to steer clubs to use on line nominations. Will start to communicate to clubs. On line noms are a mechanism to ensure qualifying times are checked and swimmers are registered? Is also a check that the nomination times are correct. Amanda commented that charges are more as there are credit card fees. There are still a few bugs but help available. We will look at trialling it for CQ Sprints

• CQ Sprints & Champs. Bilo only club to express interest. Michael has sent message asking if they are still interested and with how much involvement Sarah & Susan looking at qualifying times for CQ Champs

• Relays – price on caps $6.50 + GST. Waiting for info from raptor re singlet’s etc Discussed western kids being able to make it.

• Development Grants: Hold off on sending out EOI until and have closing date later in November.

• Is there anything the association should be doing? Ie president visit. Clubs appreciated the last visit. Michael may look at doing some carnivals in the west to make more contact. Can survey clubs if relevant

• Grants – Michael asked Shari to apply NPSR grant for replacement computers, marquees, printers. Laptops are aging. Wests and Gladstone south both have received grants. Glen Butcher local member provided timing system.

• Clinic after Beef City – Barry has prepared invitation. For Green & Bronze. Michael to talk to Barry re getting a swimmer up.
