The public shelter and jetty at Veteran Hall make a good subject. Parking is limited at the jetty but there is plenty of street/verge parking. It is many years since we have been to the Somersby Falls picnic area. We have to enjoy these places before the heat of summer is upon us again. The location at Yattalunga is very much improved now that it has been landscaped. It does have good views across to Saratoga and Green Point. Let us hope that it is a nice day when we go down to the location on the Hawkesbury River It does have good views out across the river; there is a cafe in the new cruise terminal building, or you could drive a short distance around to Brooklyn for fish and chips. This is somewhere different for us to enjoy. If you haven’t been to our paintouts before, come along and join in. Always a very enjoyable morning, there is no starting and finishing time, come and go as you please. Morning tea is at 10am and lunch 12Noon.
