A WARM WELCOME TO WALT AND JANET SEELEY
The search committee is delighted to announce that the search for a new rector has concluded with the selection of Reverend Walt Seeley and his wife Reverend Janet Seeley.
Rev. Walt Seeley has been in parish ministry for 17 years as a parish priest, Ministry Developer in Region 5, and currently as the priest-in-charge at St. John's in Green River. Rev. Janet Seeley has been the priest at St. James in Kemmerer since 2015. Walt will serve as the full-time compensated rector at Trinity. Janet will be part-time and uncompensated.
The rector position will be funded for five years by a generous donation from an anonymous donor. The goal is for the position to become self-sustaining during that five-year period through increased membership and stewardship.

The selection was first made by unanimous vote of the rector search committee, then approved unanimously by the vestry, and finally confirmed by Bishop Smylie. The vestry is now working with Walt and Jan, and the Diocese, to complete a written agreement for the details of the appointment. Walt and Jan are expected to begin their service at Trinity in January, 2018.
The search committee and vestry are extremely excited to welcome Walt and Janet to Trinity. We are indeed blessed to have them aboard and wish to thank all of you for your support and valuable input during this process.

THANK YOU A giant thank you to everyone who helped with the Community Thanksgiving Dinner. The interest and
support were overwhelming. An extraordinary amount of donations and food were received from both Trinity
members and the community. What a blessing!
The event was partially sponsored by the Sunday School Alms project. Thank you Sunday School Kids!
An abundance of delicious dishes were brought in for all to enjoy. No one left hungry. We owe a special
thank you to Larry Sutt for cooking the turkeys, which were perfect. Thanks also to Walt and Janet Seeley who drove up that morning from Kemmerer to help.
It was a special and wonderful day, and folks are already talking about next year!
THANK YOU ALL
Cathedral Home For ChildrenLaramie, WY
For the last three years, the Foundation for the Episcopal Diocese of Wyoming has matched all gifts directed to CHC by Episcopal parishes across the state, up to $25,000. They are still matching those gifts.
If you would like to donate to Cathedral Home for Children please make your check out to Trinity and write CHC in the memo line. Trinity will then mail the total collected before the end of the year, which will be matched dollar-for-dollar.
Dale and Roberta Palmer on their wedding day Dec 28, 1968 The 48 Episcopal
parishes around the Diocese all contributed a quilt square for the Diocesan Quilt that was displayed at Diocesan Convention and now hangs in St. Matthews Cathedral.
Thank you Josie Rounds for making Trinity’s square.

committee. Two people are needed.
The 2018 stewardship letter with attached pledge card is included with this newsletter, and we ask that you please return your pledge by Dec 31 so
