Recent upgrades to our motors range

Up to now motors with forced ventilation were available only with frame sizes from 100 to 315. From now on, those will also be available for size 90, the extension of the range for this vari-ant covers both flameproof motors and flameproof motors with brake.

Both projects are designed for customers of our distributor Lönne Scandinavia AS.

AB-AC 160 FreeWheel

Flameproof motor coupled to a counter-flange freewheel (or backstop) that, with a mechanical impediment, allows only one direction of rotation to the motor. Is used in the realization of winches for the move-ment of the rescue shuttles.

DB-DC 250 manual release

It is a flame-proof motor with brake, manual releaseand forced ven-tilation, is fitted with lateral terminal box and an auxiliarybox in cast iron, the special flange is of reduced diameter. This motor is used for cranes on board of ships.

The certificate 120005X is related to the DB Series (means group IIB) while the 120002X certificate refers to the DC Series (group IIC). Tra le novità più importanti che presenteremo al-la prossima fiera di Francoforte ci sono i nuovi servizi di Engineering che Cemp, da qualche me-se, propone a tutti i propri clienti, che al fine di dimensionare la migliore soluzione, desiderino, già in fase d'offerta, effettuare l’analisi del com-portamento, del sistema macchina-motore all’av-viamento, e visualizzare la sovrapposizione della curva d'avviamento motore e della curva di cop-

pia resistente di carico. A lato un esempio, dove CM è la curva del moto-re, CL la curva del cari-co e CA (differenza pun-tuale tra CM e CL) è la coppia disponibile per l’avviamento (o coppia accelerante). Considerando anche l'i-nerzia del carico, il no-stro ufficio tecnico può calcolare il tempo d'av-viamento del set comple-

to, anche nei casi di avviamento stella/triangolo o di tensione ridotta.

Engineering, a new Cemp service

Amongst the most important news that we will in-troduce at the next Frankfurt fair, there are the new Engineering services that Cemp announced a few months ago to all of its customers. In order to well size the best solution, already on the offer phase, we can provide the performance analysis of the motor-machine system during the starting phase, and display the overlap of the motor starter curve and the torque load ca-pacity curve. On side a typical motor torquecurve (CM) and a hypo-thetical load torque curve superimposed (CL) the torque (Ca) available to accelerate the motor up to speed is given by the difference between motor torque and load torque (CM -CL). Considering the load inertia, our technical department can calculate the starting time of the full set, even in cases of star/delta starting or reduced voltage.

Towards the end of last March, Mr. Daniel Chang Director of RUN ACE of Taipei, our distributor in Taiwan. came to Senago to visit us. It was a very important and precious meeting for us, in fact it was an occasion to strengthen the business relations between our respective companies. With Mr. Chang, we talked about what to do to grow in a market as competitive as the Tai-wanese one and how to overcome the competi-tive challenges which every day measure our-selves. Mister Chang had also the opportunity to visit our facilities and see first hand our production system, testing and quality control of our products.

una azienda che propone apparecchiature smaltate su supporto d'acciaio,

tecnologia che da origine ad un pro-dotto con caratteristiche eccezionali: forte come l'acciaio e chimicamente inerte come il vetro. Il viaggio è quindi

proseguito con l’incontro del si-gnor Luca Trevisol alla Lafert Group, azienda che opera a livello

mondiale nel settore dei motori elettrici, e che ha sviluppato insieme alla nostra società alcune im-portanti collaborazioni, in particolare nei mercati del nord America.

Last March, our president with the sales and mar-keting manager and the area manager, has visited our agents and distributors in the north-east: ETI company of San Canzian d'Isonzo (Gorizia) and Servotech of Vicenza. Of course it was also the opportunity to meet some important cus-tomers and partners in Veneto and Friuli. In particular, we point out the meeting with Mrs. Federica Dallanoce CEO of Ferrari Ventila-tori, one of our excel-lent customer, and European reference, in the field of in-dustrial fans at low, medium and high pressure. One otherrelevant step of the trip was the meeting with Mr. Renato Gi-lardi of Tycon Tecnoglass, a company that offers glass-lined equipment over steel support, technology that gives rise to a product with exceptional proper-ties: as strong as steel and as inert chemically as glass. Hence, trip contin-ued with the meeting with Mr. Luca Trevisol of Lafert Group, which operates worldwide in the field of electric motors, and that along with our company has developed some important partner-ships, especially in the markets of North America.

China International Petroleum & Petrochemical Technology and Equipment Exhibition (CIPPE), a regu-lar gathering in petroleum and petrochemical industry, is held two sessions every year, March in Beijing and August in Shanghai. Euro-me, our distributor in China, was at the Italian pavilion with a booth completely dedicated to our motors. As in every other field, the Chi-nese flameproof motors market is in rapid growth and we want to “catch the train”!

The Elcom Ukraine is a widely known trade show, which has taken place on April 17 - 20 at Expo Plaza in Kyiv. The fair is the meeting place for the sector professionals. At ITO’s booth, our distribu-tor for the country, Cemp introduced its last new production and Mr. Olek-sandr Kyrychenko, ITO’s manager, has proudly reported the good interest got by our motors.
