Cely’s House Creative Workshops Fall 2015 Art Classes There are many different times and types of art and pottery classes offered at Cely’s House. All classes have limited space. “Throwing on the Wheel” will be offered Monday, Wednesday, and Friday afternoon from 3:30-5:30 p.m., available to older children (ages 8 and up) as well as adults. Throwing classes for adults will be offered on Wednesday and Friday mornings from 9:30-11:30 am. Cely will offer a basic sewing class on Tuesday afternoon from 3:30-5:30 p.m. that will teach both hand and machine sewing. Wednesday afternoon from 3:30-5:30 is a class that will explore painting using a variety of techniques and styles. The cost for each session is $220 for 10 weeks. Material cost is included. QVC Cooking Show Downtown (Aug. 5) Wednesday, August 5 at 7 pm: Home shopping television network QVC will record an episode of its cooking show "In the Kitchen with David" from the top of the Wallace Parking Deck, 150 E. Rosemary St. Chapel Hill native David Venable, QVC's resident "foodie," best-selling cookbook author, and accomplished home cook, has been a program host at QVC since 1993. Those interested in attending may reserve up to four free tickets each at www.qvc.tix.com.
