The paddock had been grazed out by dairy stock and

sprayed out, then baked hard as rock in the hot summer

sun. A large set of discs behind a 190 HP tractor were

only able to penetrate 2 inches. The Celli Spikes Rotor

comes in behind a 150 HP tractor, cultivates to 5 inches

leaving a seed bed in one pass.

Re-grassing - old pasture had been grazed down, then sprayed out. One pass with the Spikes Rotor and a seedbed is produced ready for re-grassing.

Pre-ripped, then straight into Kikiyu about 8 inch

height. Buried most of it. I have tried standard power

harrows but they won’t do the job. I left the paddock

one week, then heavy rolled, direct drilled then heavy

rolled again. The paddock that I used the Celli Spikes

Rotor on, is now the best paddock on the farm.
