Endoplasmic Reticulum (ER)- system of folded membranes in which proteins, lipid and other materials are transported to other parts of the cell.
Rough Endoplasmic Reticulum- Close to nucleus has ribosomes on it
Smooth Endoplasmic Reticulum- lacks ribosomes
