These are all symbols of Easter.
What do these symbols mean?
• Many Easter symbols make people think of springtime and new life.
Eggs are symbols of new life
because some brand-new
baby animals come out of them.
• Bunnies are symbols of springtime moon.
• Easter falls on the first Sunday• after the first full moon • after the first day of spring.

Easter lilies are symbols of new life and springtime.
Easter lilies start to bloom around Easter time.
• New clothes are a symbol of new life, too.
• Some people get a new outfit for Easter.
• The cross is a symbol of
• Jesus Christ and new life.
• For Christians, Easter is the celebration of His Resurrection.
• All these symbols remind us that it’s a special time for many people. It’s time for Easter.
