Celebrating Arbor Day Appropriately
In this modern age, many politicians and social activists are
encouraging American citizens to start setting small goals that can
help them be kinder to the environment. Many people believe in
global warming, and many do not.
Regardless of the fact of whether global warming is a real threat, we
should still be working to try to take care of the environment. There
are many things you can do inside your own home and with your own family to save and converse
electricity, water, and paper.
Environment
Many communities around the country band together to try to set goals that will help the environment.
These communities celebrate Arbor Day at the end of April in order to promote the planting of trees and
a healthy embrace of our environment.
Arbor Day is a great way to get involved in helping to save the environment. Here are a few tips that will
help you get involved this Arbor Day in your community.
If you are a teacher of any kind, get the children or individuals whom you teach to get involved in Arbor
Day activities. Have one day that is totally dedicated to education about Arbor Day and activities that
will help to save the planet.
You could also organize a beautification project in a public park in your town. This could involve picking
up trash and litter, planting trees, flowers, and shrubs, mowing lawns, installing sprinklers, and cleaning
off playground equipment.
Anything that will help the park or area look more clean and presentable will be perfect. You could also
organize a poetry and literature night with an Arbor Day theme.
Poems
People could participate by writing poems, songs, or short stories that talk about their love of trees and
nature. They could also write about what they are going to personally do in order to help save the
environment.
Another thing you could do in your community to celebrate Arbor Day is to go on a nature hike. Have
the local Boy Scout or Girl Scout troop lead groups on these nature hikes and point out different kinds of
trees.
This could be a fun and family-friendly activity. If you want to celebrate individually and in your own way
on Arbor Day, there are also several things you can do.
One of the most important things you can do is to plant a tree in
your own yard. Make the planting of this tree special by naming
it after someone who is important to you.
You could name it after someone you love who has died, or
someone you love who is living. If you name this tree after
someone, you will be reminded of that person everytime you see the tree.
Over the years as the tree grows, it will serve as a reminder for your love for and friendship with that
individual. There are several companies in the country who work towards making sure their services are
environmentally friendly.
Packsize is one of those companies. Packsize has saved 512, 318 trees with their environmentally
friendly packaging services.
Their packaging services are helping and saving the environment one box at a time.
