FRUIT CAKESCut fruit evenly to currant size. Never put bowl scrapings into the centre of cake. For asmooth top, after placing mixture into tin and before placing in oven, wet your hand andpat all fruit down. Bumping your cake tin on the table before putting in oven, helpseliminate air bubbles.
