How beautiful are the feet of those who bring good news
-Romans 10:15
Thankful See how the flowers of the field grow,
They do not labor or spin.
Yet I tell you that not even Solomon in all his splendor was dressed like one of these.
Matthew 6:28b How do we even begin to show thankfulness?
To be “Thankful for Our Future” is to be thankful for God’s blessings. The future of Lutheran High School of Sioux Falls is in God’s hands, and we are His instruments.
We are blessed to serve families by offering excellence in academics, education grounded in Christ, and support and encouragement to students who serve as leaders in the community.
Lutheran High School of Sioux Falls began sharing the good news of our God four years ago. Over the past few years,
God has richly blessed Lutheran High as we continue to grow in so many different ways - adding more students, more faculty, more class options, and more extra-curricular activities. Lutheran High is a small setting school with a really big heart! Come be a part of our future.
Jesus is the embodiment of God’s goodness and grace. He spoke in the book of Matthew about the beauty of God’s creation. We trust in God to bless Lutheran High, as His creation, to be dressed as richly as a flower of the field, as we create students “World Ready, Faith Secure.”
A place to grow...
Extra-Curricular activities at Lutheran High School of Sioux Falls enrich the academic course work. Academics, Athletics, and the Arts all play a vital role in the development o f our s t ud en ts and completing our motto, “World Ready, Faith Secure”.
Students at Lutheran High excel on the field and court. Athletics is a growing tradition amongst our students . Lutheran High students are
able to participate in 10
different athletic programs
sponsored by the state, from basketball and volleyball, to golf and cross-country.
Athletics at Lutheran High also serve to teach valuable lessons about teamwork, cooperation, respect, and determination.
We are expanding our athletic offerings yearly as the school continues to grow. The athletics department began in
2010. In 2014, Lutheran High
entered a co-operative agreement with
and excel.

Baltic (SD) High School for football.
Proudly, no child is denied acceptance to Lutheran High for financial reasons.
Beyond being a place for s t u d e n t s t o e x p r e s s themselves and share their creativity, music education has become a place to also excel.
Musicians at LHSSF have been placed in All-State Band, All-State Jazz Band, All-State Chorus, and the All-City Jazz
Band for Sioux Falls.
Fine arts, painting, poetry, and other artistic expression find a home at LHSSF, espe-cially during the “Spring Fling with the Arts”, a yearly art show in April that high-l i g h t s t h e students talents. From painters to soloists, fine arts are alive at Lutheran High.

Fund Missionaries in Sioux Falls Students at Lutheran High are equipped to lead our Church in the next generation. Through our theological curriculum, students are taught how to address the complex challenges that accompany Christianity in our modern world.
Classes such as World Views, Church History, and Apologetics thoroughly enable our students to respond to challenges in their faith, especially in these days of trial.
Funding these missionaries, our students, is only possible through the financial support of our donors like you. As a growing mission opportunity in Sioux Falls, the need for your support has never been greater.
People from all parts of the city have been touched by the lives and message of our student missionaries.
Support these missionaries in sharing the Gospel daily through their lives.

Lutheran Education has an invaluable and life-lasting benefit to each person it touches. There is a reason that a recent report by the Nation’s Report Card listed Lutheran Schools as Tops in the United States!
Even greater value can be seen in strengthening the Church of today for better leadership in the future. Sadly, seven out of every ten high school graduates who regularly worship will stop worshipping after graduation, according to Lifeway Research.
The need for strong Lutheran
education has never been greater. By giving to an educat ion system that supports a students faith, you are giving these students the chance to fully express themselves in every aspect of their life. This faith education strengthens the church, as
100% of our college bound
graduates chose to attend a Christian University last year!
Proudly, education at Lutheran High is open to everyone. This is only possible through your g e n e r o u s s u p p o r t i n sponsoring your school. We are grateful for you daily.
THANK YOU! The LHSSF Member Relations Committee would like to thank
all the friends, family, and staff who have volunteered their time.; thanks to
Faith Lutheran Church for hosting us, and all association churches for
promoting this event; to our thoughtful speakers; the 7th grade class at Sioux
Falls Lutheran School for babysitting; Mavis Smith in the kitchen; Tasondra
Huyck and our student musicians; in all things, thanks be to God for His grace
and mercy given daily!

Lutheran High students are taught to express their faith in daily life, even if the world is not ready to hear what they have to say. Our students painted “Jesus Christ” on a snow plow blade for a city event, and made national news. In spite of protest, God ensured that His name be glorified, and the power of His name be shared around the world. Millions of people have seen Jesus through this expression of faith. We are proud of our students.
