Nov. 12 – Arrive in Tel Aviv, IsraelWelcome to Tel Aviv, Israel! Upon arrival, you will be met at theairport and transferred to your hotel in Jerusalem for dinner and agood night’s rest.

Nov. 13 – Mt. of Olives, Garden of Gethsemane, Shrine of theBook Start your day standing atop the Mount of Olives, where Jesusascended into Heaven 40 days after His resurrection. Visit theGarden of Gethsemane and pray among the olive trees in the KidronValley across from the walls of Jerusalem. Understand better theJerusalem of Jesus’ day with a look at the First Century Model ofthe city of Jerusalem at the Israel Museum. Also on the museumgrounds, visit the Shrine of the Book where the Dead Sea Scrollsare displayed.

Nov. 14 – Bethlehem, Old City Tour, Pool of Bethesda, CardoToday visit Bethlehem, the birthplace of Jesus. Walk throughportions of the Old City of Jerusalem, discovering the sights andsounds of both the ancient and modern. Walk along some of thestreets known as the Via Dolorosa and visit the Pool of Bethesdawhere Jesus healed a man on the Sabbath. Continue your journeythrough the Old City to the Cardo where modern shops are situatedamong an ancient marketplace whose ruins date back to the Judeanmonarchy.

Nov. 15 – Caiaphas' House, Southern Steps, Western Wall, GardenTomb, Gordon’s CalvaryVisit the remains of the House of the High Priest Caiaphas, where itis believed by many that Jesus was held overnight prior to thecrucifixion. Continue to the Southern Wall Excavations includingthe Teaching Steps and many mikvahs. Take a moment to pray atthe Western Wall. Reflect on the agony of the cross at Gordon’sCalvary and the exhilaration of the resurrection at the GardenTomb.

Nov. 16 – Qumran, Ein Gedi, Jericho, Jordan Valley, Beit Shean,TiberiasTravel to the lowest place on earth and visit the ruins of Qumranwhere the Dead Sea Scrolls were discovered in the 1940's. Continuesouth along the coastline of the Dead Sea to Ein Gedi, which Davidused as a refuge to hide from King Saul. Enter Jericho and see theremains of the oldest inhabited city in the world. Journey throughthe Jordan Valley and arrive at Beit Shean, site of one of the 10 citiesof the Decapolis. Check into your hotel in Tiberias for dinner and agood night's sleep.

Nov. 17 ‐ Sea of Galilee, Capernaum, Mt. of Beatitudes, JordanRiverEnjoy a Boat Ride on the Sea of Galilee and appreciate the specialplace this lake had in Jesus' ministry. Drive along the shores of theSea of Galilee, passing the area of Magdala, home of MaryMagdalene. Travel to Capernaum, the center of Jesus’ ministry inthe Galilee, and stand in the ruins of the synagogue built atop theremains of the one in which Jesus taught. Visit the peaceful Mountof Beatitudes that overlooks the Sea of Galilee. On this hill, Jesuspreached the Sermon on the Mount. Remember your baptism atthe Yardenit Baptismal Site, where the Jordan River exits the Seaof Galilee on its journey southward.

Nov. 18 ‐ Dan, Caesarea Philippi, Golan HeightsTravel north to visit the tel of Dan, one of Israel's ancient boundarymarkers ‐ "From Dan to Beersheba". Close by is Caesarea Philippi,where Peter proclaimed, "You are the Christ". Travel through theGolan Heights to gain a better perspective of this region's strategicvalue and history both past and present.

Nov. 19 – Nazareth, Megiddo, Caesarea MaritimaRecall Jesus’ first miracle as you pass through Cana. View Nazareth,the boyhood home of Jesus, from the Mount of Precipice, the placewhere an enraged hometown mob attempted to throw our Lordoff the cliff. Travel the ancient caravan route to Tel Megiddo where20 different cities lie superimposed upon each other. Journey toCaesarea by the Sea and stand in the place where it is believed Pauladdressed King Agrippa and Festus. Explore the extensive remainsof the theater and other sites, including a Roman aqueduct alongthe Mediterranean shore. Enjoy an evening dinner beforetransferring to the Tel Aviv airport for your flight home.
