Ladies Decision is een enthousiaste en vrolijke meidenband

uit de provincie Utrecht bestaande uit Manou Maarhuis

(21, Bas), Sascha Maarhuis (18, Toetsen), Nadja Gesk us (20,

Drums), Myriam Geskus (18, Gitaar), Franka Kleevens (20,

Zang) en Floor Oosterbeek (20, Zang).

Een greep uit de opmerkingen van de pers en jury’s:

- HU Trajectum: ‘Krezip is dood. Lang leve Ladies Decision.

- Jury Kunstbende: ‘Erg frisse uitstraling. Barst van de ener-

gie! En te gekke outfits!’

- Gooi en Eemlander: ‘Ladies Decision zorgt voor extra

sfeer!’

- Baarnsche Courant: ‘Heel veel leuke meiden, die ook nog

goede muziek kunnen maken.’

- Jury Grote Prijs van Leusden: ‘Allemaal vrolijke gezichten.

De uitstraling is heel origineel.’

- Gooi en Eemlander: ‘Jong regionaal talent!’

- Jury Clash of the Coverbands: ‘Band met potentie!’

We zijn als Ladies Decision nu zo’n anderhalf jaar bij elkaar

en hebben al vele optredens achter de rug (o.a. Puddingpop

(1600 bezoekers), Grote prijs van Leusden, Clash of the

Coverbands, Willems Wondere Weiland, Mazijkpop en Clash

of the Titans). Naast optreden zijn we door www.scholieren.

com vorig jaar uitgeroepen tot ‘de enige echte scholieren.

com-band’ en hebben we daar een weblog bijgehouden.

Ook heeft Eemland RTV ons een paar weken gevolgd (aantal

kijkers: 12.000). Tevens schrijven wij gemiddeld eens in de

twee weken een artikel in de Baarnsche Courant (oplage:

11.500) over het verloop van Ladies Decision. Onze zangeres

Floor heeft hiernaast ook nog een interview gegeven bij

radiozender Utracks waar ze ons eigen nummer ‘Get out!’

hebben laten horen. Ook ons nummer ‘Fairytale’ is hier

indecember 2009 te horen geweest.
