Goals• To achieve large-scale Blue Hydrogen production in the Rotterdam port area to help

realise climate goals• To develop infrastructure for future Green Hydrogen

Approach• Sixteen partners from the Rotterdam port area are working together to investigate

the feasability of the production and application of blue hydrogen in the industry• Positive outcomes of a pilot will result in a substantial project for large scale supply

of blue hydrogen before 2030• The sixteen partners represent the full hydrogen chain: from production to end-users

Potential CO2-reduction• 2 million tons in 2025, ascending to 6 million tons per year in 2030
