Over 30% From 2011 Increased Interest in Cross
Country Flying Financially Stable
2012 FINANCIAL SUMMARYJan. 1, 2012 Jan. 1, 2013$30,000 in bank $45,000 in bank 12,000 owe SSD All bills paid 12,000 owe insurance$6,000We have bettered our financial position by $40,000.How did we get here:The 2012 budget was set to break even at 2000 flights$12,000 SSA dues prepayment 5,000 tow plane annual under budget 11,000 introductory rides 7,000 2300 flights vs. 2000 flights 11,000 XC camp and contest$46,000
We can’t count on any of this $46,000 happening again
2013 BUDGET Budget is again set to break even at 2000
flights. There is $8,000 of introductory flights in
budget Have indications that tow plane annuals might
be over $15,000 budgeted
The budget is tight
We should be okay but if we find in September that we are falling behind the budgeted income, the CCSC board might ask for the $64 SSA yearly dues payment from the members.
We are currently in a good position and with a little good weather 2013 will be another great year.
