Creative Europe Purpose

Strengthening the capabilities of EaP institutions in international cultural co-operation initiatives, including:

MEDIA and Culture sub-programmes of Creative Europe

Creative EuropeUkraine will be eligible for Creative Europe in 2016 when it signs the Association Agreement.

This allows Ukrainian cultural operators to compete with 37 other nations to access funds in: (A) The Culture sub-programme’s four strands:• Support for Cooperation Projects • Support for literary translation projects• Support to European Networks• Support to European platforms

(B) The following strands in the MEDIA sub-programme: • Training• Festivals• Audience Development• Access to markets

The Culture and Creativity Programme will:

• Work closely with the Creative Europe teams in Brussels

• Support the Creative Europe desk officers in the region

• Promote talent and best practice in the region via our website

• Provide study tour placements to Europe

• Encourage Ukrainian cultural actors to join European networks based in your country

• Support the Creative Europe Desk in Ukraine (introductions, exchanges, links, networks)
