National CCCM Cluster Following consultation with CCCM partners and stakeholders, the Humanitarian Needs Overview(HNO) indicators were finalized for 2019 Humanitarian Response Planning. Also during this period, the CCCM cluster engaged and supported in the operationalizing of life-saving support in the Weapon Free Zone outside UN House following a sudden influx into the area. Upon population movement, initial coordination for Mangateen was incepted and handed over to DRC as part of the emergency mobile response initiative for camp-like settings. DRC Mobile response team temporarily led coordination of services in Managteen. • Following the outbreak of conflict and what was identified as major physical security concerns for a significant number of the population residing in UN House, at the request of UNMISS, camp management mobilized the community to depart the site and moved 3,379 people to UNMISS Tomping for IOM DTM fingerprinting, and then on to Mangateen site. UN House PoCs Wau PoCAA: • In order to avoid potential fire outbreak in PoC, camp management launched a visual fire prevention campaign including posters in site hubs and the installation of 10-community notice boards in Zone B. • As mitigation measure to flooding the camp management site care and maintenance team desilted external drainage in the eastern, part of PoCAA to ease the flow of water during the rainy season. Collective Sites: • To enhance the safety of the side, CCCM site care and maintenance teams installed two solar lights in Hai Masna with the aim of deterring nighttime criminality. • Strengthening the capacity of the site committees to participate in site management and accountability, CCCM trained newly elected site committees on the community –based Complaint and feedback mechanism. 17,373* Wau PoC AA 147 Wau PoC 11,032* Collective Centers Melut Following wide engagement of site stakeholders including local government, humanitarians and community members, it was identified that there are major gaps in securing NFIs, quality standards of sanitation and dignity kits for women. 26,502 Melut Collective Sites Mangateen site Mangateen site, currently under the coordination and management of DRC emergency response Camp management team currently holds as estimated population of 3800-4000 people. From the outset and up until now the issue of overcrowding in the site and the need to decongest a warehouse, originally set out to hold 500 people is the priority for site partners. 1,658 Bentiu Bentiu Collective Sites To ease efforts for community mobilization and information sharing in Bentiu town with the Bentiu humanitarian coordination forum, CCCM cluster distributed stationery kits, T-shirts, Solar rechargeable Radios, Mobile Phones and Solar Torches to 20-committee member. 114,652* Bentiu PoC Bentiu Collective Sites 221 Rubkona Collectives As part of ongoing efforts to identify and close service delivery gaps in the Collective Sites ,the POC site,the Beyond Bentiu Response Areas and to remain accountable to the affected population, CCCM cluster conducted a session for the humanitarian agencies on accountability and the need for community engagement for better service delivery and transparency. Rubkona Collective Sites 10,071 Aburoc In an effort to improve road access at the site, Camp Management completed construction of crossing dyke across swamp that connect the two sites.
