2. Peerun and Rujub Family are from India, respectively from Surat and Bihar. They entered the country to work as indentured laborers to work in sugar cane fields in the 17th century 3. THE PEERUNS FAMILY 4. PLANTERPLOWMANMy great grand parents were very poor and did not attend school, but they worked very hard in order to give their children maximum education. Thus, enabling future generation to acquire education. 5. = 7 CHILDREN (5 DAUGHTERS/ 2 SONS) PLANTER5 DAUGHTERSDIDNT WENT TO SCHOOL2 SONSESHANOnly the two sons went to school till standard 6 because at that time girls were meant to stay at home and help their parents and thereafter their in-laws. 6. My Grandfather married my grand mother and had 7 children: 3 daughters and 4 sons. Despite the fact that my grand-father went only to primary school, he was enough intelligent to educate his children. As a plowman, he worked very hard and earned money to sent his children to school and bought a piece of land for each of them. The hard earned money of my grand parents were used only for important tasks such as educating their children and buying plot of land for them, and for basic needs. All of the children went to primary and secondary school. Even some of them went to university as the eldest one went abroad to further her education and some other settled in a foreign country. 7. My eldest Aunt with her husband and Family 8. My Fathers youngest sister with her husband and Family 9. Dad eldest brother with his Family 10. Compared to his brothers and sisters my father, took another path, and could be define as an ADVENTURE 11. After my farther finished his Form 5, he had the choice to work in a hotel or in textile. For some personal reason he opted for textile.1)He started as a helper in a factory 2) after that he became a machinist 3) And then a supervisor in the factory. 12. My grandparents houseMy grandparents have been living in a wooden and metal house in the past, building a concrete on afterwards for their children after years of hard work 13. THE RUJUBS FAMILY 14. My great grand parents were also poor and did not attend school, but they strieved very hard in order to give their children maximum education. After living for a long period in Madagascar, we came to Mauritius and my father constructed this house. 27. Hard works always pay, my ancestors woke up early to be on duty: as bread seller, plowman and planter, which enabled my father to build his home sweet home :D Furthermore, my ancestors have contributed enormously, for which we have today in my family members pursuing higher studies, and some have become engineers, teachers and architects also. 28. My Great grandparents from Dads side and Grandparents from Moms side were originally from China, my Great grandparents went to Pontianak, Kalimantan Barat and my Grandparents went to Tarakan, Kalimanatan Timur. They came to Indonesia in search for a better job opportunities. 30.
