Cryobox-Bio™Biomethane upgrading and liquefaction nano station
Virtual Pipeline™ mother stationVirtual Pipeline™ mother station
Overview [1/3]
Cryobox‐Bio is a fully integrated biomethane upgrading and liquefaction station. Its plug‐and‐play technology and its intrinsically safe configuration ensures up to 200 kg/h of liquefied biomethane (LBM) wherever needed.
Cryobox-Bio™
Overview [2/3]
Cryobox‐Bio simplifies the installation process because it does not require complex civil works nor the set‐up of additional components. Its plug‐and‐play configuration features all the elements required for a direct connection to biodigestersand reduces operating costs as well as the area required for installation.
Cryobox‐Bio includes a ZPTS membrane for biomethaneupgrading and heat exchangers that deliver 170 thousand Kcal/h to ensure the thermal operating conditions of the biodigester.
The modularity, lightweight, economic transportation and easy installation turn Cryobox‐Bio into the most flexible solution for future expansions, relocations and the financing of the equipment.

The major items in installation savings are:
Cryobox-Bio™
Main Features [1/3]
DIRECT CONNECTION TO THE BIODIGESTER AND BIOMETHANE UPGRADING SYSTEM (ZPTS): The undesirable components contained within biomethane (H2O, H2S, COV, siloxanes, CO2) are removed by an integrated ZPTS upgrading system. Once purified, the CBM fulfills the characteristics necessary be transported to a valorization site for its injection into the natural gas grid, or for use as fuel for heavy goods vehicles or power generation.
Cryobox-Bio™
WATER COOLING SYSTEM: It refrigerates the system and supplies 170 thousand Kcal/h to ensure biodigester’s thermal operating conditions.
BOIL‐OFF FREE: Its multiple‐stage liquefaction cycle removes any inerts and is powered by a 450 Kw engine linked to a Galileo MX 400 Compressor.
Main Features [2/3]
PORTABILITY / PLUG‐AND‐PLAY: Every Cryobox‐Bio measures the size of a 40‐feet container. This allows an easy transportation on a trailer and multiple relocations in the small areas of a plant.
Focused on the rapid availability of LBM, the Cryobox‐Bio installation and commissioning takes only 6 months, simply through a concrete platform as a base and the access to electric power, compressed air and Internet.
Cryobox-Bio™
PROPRIETARY TECHNOLOGY: Its multiple‐stage liquefaction cycle removes any inerts and is powered by a 450 Kw engine linked to a Galileo MX 400 Compressor.
START‐UP RECORD: Without energy losses or inefficiencies, its cold start‐up feature allows Cryobox‐Bio to reach the maximum production level in only 10 minutes. A clear advantage when compared to medium or large‐sized plants which require 12 to 18 hours to start production..
Main Features [3/3] Cryobox-Bio™
MULTIPLE FUELS FOR MULTIPLE NEEDS: Besides LBM, Cryobox produces Compressed Biomethane (CBM) on demand, offering the possibility to choose the best fuel for every ocassion, for example: CBM for light‐duty vehicles and LBM for high‐power applications.
FAST AND EASY FILLING: The transfer of LBM to the storage tanks does not require the use of pumps. Thanks to its priority panel, LBM can also be transferred from these tanks to the distributon trailers or to other vehicles or industrial equipment for immediate consumption.
24/7 MONITORING: The operation is completely automatized and monitored remotely 24/7 via Galileo Technologies SCADA system.

Cryobox-Bio™
Overview [1/3]
The impact of climate change and the importance of energy cost in everyday life foster the need to tap into biomethane production alternatives.
However, the dispersion and abundance of biomethane sources turns the laying of pipelines economically unsustainable to take this gas to consumers.
Virtual Pipeline™ connects consumers with biomethane sources, monetizing resources that currently have no value and providing energy to isolated regions. Its technology makes it possible to upgrade and liquefy biomethane right at the source; transport it by road and deliver it at the pressure and demand levels required by consumers.

InnovationDeveloped by Galileo Technologies, its innovation and efficiency turned the brand into a generic term used by the whole industry.
The Cryobox‐Bio is a fuel producing unit that can be delivered in a single truck to offer up to 200 kg of LBM per hour. Its plug‐and‐play and redeployableconfiguration ensures a clean fueling solution wherever needed.
! Upgrading The undesirable components contained within biomethane (H2O, H2S, COV, siloxanes, CO2) are removed for optimal biomethane upgrading. Once purified, the LBM fulfills the characteristics necessary to be transported to a valorization site for its injection into the natural gas grid, or for use as fuel for heavy goods vehicles or power generation.

Each stage of Galileo Patagonia service is monitored 24/7 via the Internet through the Galileo Technologies´ SCADA system, which enables to know the working conditions and the volumes of LBM stored in every equipment of the network.
Every time the measuring system of a CNX Patagonia indicates a drop in fueling levels, the system sends an automatic refilling order to the mother station. This favours an integral vision and a highly efficient management of the whole logistics, such as with liquid fuels.

Success Cases
We have created the Cryobox® Nano LNG‐Station and brought LNG to the service of transportWe have created Cryobox®, the first Nano LNG‐Station that has brought LNG to the transport industry. Seven Cryobox® units supply LNG to the "Francisco", the first high‐speed ferry powered by LNG fueled turbines. It is also the first time that a maritime transport company as Buquebus becomes its own fuel supplier, having chosen the cleanest and highest performance alternative.
We transformed the problem of flaring into an opportunityIn Bakken, North Dakota, we integrated flare gas capture and liquefied natural gas (LNG) production right at the wellhead. Thus, LNG can be transported and consumed as a fuel for drill‐rig power generation and frac‐water heating.
