Fire
Fire inspection considerations:
– Fire walls should be rated and free of combustible material
– Ventilation should appropriate for processes in use
– Exits and entries should be correct according to occupancy and size of building.
– Fire extinguishers should be of the appropriate amount and location
– Equipment should be listed by a nationally recognized testing laboratory or prequalified engineer should sign off on equipment.
– Hazardous materials stored properly and used only in permitted amounts.
CO & WA Community Feedback
• Marijuana establishments are prohibited in residential zoning districts
• Buffers from residential zones
• Greenhouses have more odor problems than indoor cultivation facilities
