:You should be looking to book your weddingmakeup around 4 to 5 months before the bigevent. If you can arrange to have your hair and makeuptrials on the same day it’s a great excuse for a datenight or a girl’s night out.You should also book any bridesmaids and themothers of the bride/ groom as well as yourself.However, you are the only one that should need atrial session.Pick a lip color you love for your look and purchaseit for your own keeping. This will ensureconsistency with reapplication and a fresh lip allevening !

The low down is this.None of us (and I mean no one) enjoys themandatory mascara session that has become part ofthe day-to-day. It’s tedious to apply correctly andtaking it off later is even worse. Don’t think for onesecond that leaving it on isn’t an option either (it canseriously damage your fragile little lashes by dryingthem out to the point of breakage.) So what’s a gal todo Eyelash Extensions!
Now, I know what you’re thinking. “Won’t thesedamage my natural lashes?” “What if I don’t want asuper-dramatic look?” “How long do they last?” “Whyare they a better option than the strip lashes sold atcosmetic counters?” Be patient young grasshopper, Iwill fill you in on every lash detail you might possiblyhave.
he HOW’s:
Before the application has begun, I take a fewmoments to determine your lash desires. Every girlneeds options and your eyelashes are no exception!Are you into the natural look or to do want these badboys to take you all the way Disney princess status?Totally up to your style preferences and the time youwant commit on your set. Typically a full set consistsof 60-80 lashes per eye and if you so choose theprincess path the length and thickness would ofcourse be properly applied. If you are less interestedin breeze-induced- blinking than you might considera half set (30-40 per eye.) Everyone has their look butboth have a solid place in the beauty universe.

lashing outEach individual hair is applied at the base of yourindividual lash with a semi-permanent glue. This lashquickly sets, dries, and another is applied to a lash onthe opposite eye (this helps keep each eye looking aseven and fantastic as the lashes on the other.)Throughout this process the lashes are combedthrough and sorted between to ensure that no roguelash has established residency amongst the otherlovelies.
Your new fantastic compliment factory should lastyou up to 4 weeks if cared for properly. That meansNO mascara (the dye thins the glue and will causeyou to lose extensions faster.)
THE F*#@ YEAH’S:Ok extensions make va-va-voom actually possible butare they safe? The answer?….drum roll……Yes! If done bya properly trained lash extension specialist (likemyself, ahem) then your eyelashes will be all thebetter for it. Truth be told your natural lashes tend tostrengthen and grow longer with the extensions dueto the lack of tugging, drying, and breaking that themascara gig causes. So there ya go. Any otherquestions?
