Click the story to hear it read aloud!Let's read a story.Joey always had a snack as soon as he got home from school. His mom told him that he should eat something nutritious and never eat candy for a snack. Joey's mom wasn't home one day and Joey decided to have candy even though his mom told him not to. He knew his mom kept the candy on top of the refrigerator where he couldn't reach it so he went to the garage to get a stepstool. He climbed up the small ladder and stood on the top step. He could almost reach the candy. He reached a little further and he felt the ladder start to tip. The ladder tipped over and Joey landed on the floor with a THUD!
