ONE What do you want everyone to know about you?

I am in love with what I do, sometimes I

get tired, I cry, I pull my hair out, I

scream, but I never utter the words—I

quit. The women that allow me to work

in their lives have put their faith in me,

and they trust me to represent them. The

industry rarely shows LOVE, but they do

and I cherish that. The ladies of Diva

Day, INSPIRE ME. Loyalty is everything to

me and they GRIND with me so I will

never stop! This industry is in need of

REAL WOMEN, who stand for something

and believe in themselves, women who

are powerful and strong, who are not

afraid to push the boundaries and LIVE LIFE. They have been rejected,

battered, bruised, ignored, scarred by love and mistreated and if I can bring

them some joy then that's just what I am going to do! They fuel my love for

what I do!

TWO How did you get into modelling?

I got into modelling at 13, in high school, I didn't take it seriously because I was always the biggest

and the only plus model, so in an hour or 2 hour show I would only walk once, but baby I showed out

on that one walk every time. None the less they wouldn't have much for me to wear, so my Mom

began making pieces and sometimes they would let her put them in and some times they wouldn't.

So I sort of blew off modelling because they weren't into size acceptance! At 18 I started really

getting into it. I had been in college for a year and was really loving myself and my curves because

they made me stand out and I was truly poised with it, thanks to my English Lit teacher, who invested

in training me my senior year of high school.

THREE What is a typical day for you?

A typical day for me is getting up returning text messages, phone calls, emails , FB inbox messages ,

LinkedIn messages and scouting for legitimate castings for me and my models. Booking shoots,

beating a few fabulous faces, and posting, posting, posting everywhere to stay relevant in the

industry for my brand and the brands I represent.

FOUR Who are your role models?

My role models are my mother Margaret Mack, man she had it rough and I saw her go through so

much, and still she managed to raise us right! My teacher, Joan Scott, who believed in a plus size girl

when no one else did, and the models, designers and mentors that keep saying yes for the plus

community when 95% of society screams NO!

FIVE Who/what inspires you?

Passion, loyalty, honesty, drive, ambition, innovation, trailblazers, free spirits and love inspires me!

People who stand for something inspire me - risk takers who don't rely on the thought process of

others to move forward, inspires me!

SIX Who are your favourite designers?

I am so weird when it comes to clothing, I like a little of everything - you could call me classic/edgy/

rock star/geek! I love Cotrice Collection, Gayla Rogers, Elocin, Skinny Billionaires, Curvezz, Big Girlz

Inc, Authentic Lady Collection, Edward Dillard, Alex Holliman, KL Allen, Natasha Harvey, Phat Girl

Fresh, Tru Diva and Vanessa Henderson, there are just so many!!

SEVEN Standout moment as a model?

Being in the first Full Figured Fashion Week and being asked by a designer to be her muse—she love

my curves! Then being selected again in 2013! Another is putting on a swimsuit for the first time in

ten years and loving myself in it!

EIGHT Have you ever been treated negatively because of your size?

YES! I am in the beauty business and sometimes just coming in the room as a plus size woman, some

people, automatically discount my talents, but that doesn't last for long because I'm not shy at all

and I love who I am and what I do. So I'm coming in like a breath of fresh air - positively and

professional with skills that I am proud of, making sure I leave no room for error!

NINE What is your best feature?

My smile! I am happy. I am in love with love and life. I have an amazing relationship with my GOD,

daughter, and the people that surround and support me, so my smile is genuine and from the heart!

TEN Where do you see yourself in 5 years?

In 5 years I see me and my company being the most sought after Modelling Agency, Makeup and

Hair Studio and Development Firm in the Country!
