Different from the ordinary egret, which is

pure white,Cattle Egret is known for its small size and the soft warm yellow patches on

its body.

It gets its name from its habit of following the

steps of cattle or grazing wild beasts and feeding on the insects that they

disturb and make get out of the ground.

Pretty intelligent, don’t you think, compared to

humans who never do it even when they get the

chance?
