Thank you in advance to the following sponsors:

There is still time to become a sponsor and if you haven’t noticed, two of the available sponsorship levels for this year’s auction have received an extra “perk.”

In addition to the normal perks, the Gold Sponsorship ($3,000) now features a $50 Uber Gift Card and a dedicated Laurel Manor drink server for their table during dinner and the live auction!

Silver Sponsors ($1,500) will enjoy a dedicated Laurel Manor drink server during dinner for their table. Tickets and sponsorships are still available for this year’s auction!

Archdiocese of Detroit Tuition Assistance

The application process for families wishing to apply for tuition assistance through the Archdiocese of Detroit Tuition Assistance program is now open. Applications are completed online only and, to be considered for the full amount of assistance, must be completed and submitted to the AOD by April 30, 2018. Due to administrative change to this program, the last step of this application now involves submitting a completed Pastor’s Signature Sheet/Form to All Saints Catholic School.

As a result, we recommend you begin the application process as soon as possible and submit the required form to the main office by Friday, April 13, 2018. This will give us the necessary time to complete what is necessary. If you are considering this process, please read the 2018 AOD Parent Information Letter for guidance on our website, under Admissions > Financial Aid.

Catholic Vantage Financial ScholarshipsCatholic Vantage Financial student scholarship applications are now available online at www.mycvf.org. The credit union will award a total of 10 scholarships to members in 2018. The deadline to apply is Saturday, March 2, 2018.

Six scholarships of $500 each will be awarded to help cover tuition for students who attend Catholic schools. Two scholarships will be awarded to students in kindergarten through eighth grade, and four scholarships to students who attend a Catholic high school. Scholarship recipients will be selected by random drawing.

The Archdiocese of Detroit and Office of Catholic Schools are inviting parents to provide feedback regarding Catholic education. We encourage all families to complete this survey and provide feedback. We appreciate your family taking the time to complete the survey online at www.allsaintscs.com/aod. Students in grades 5th through 8th will complete the survey during the religion classes at school.

This presentation focuses on the dangers and devastating effects of pornography on marriages, teens, and children. This presentation is open to educators and parents of children in grades K-12. Dr. Peter Kleponis will provide practical strategies for protecting families from pornography (including preventing children from encountering it and educating teens on how to avoid and reject it).

If you are interested in learning more about the presentation, please visit www.ctkcc.net/madeformore.

Praying The Rosary“The Power of Rosary is beyond description”- Archbishop Fulton Sheen

All parents are invited to pray the rosary with our All Saints family.

Starting February 16th and every first and third Friday following, we will be praying the rosary in the chapel immediately after Parents in Prayer.

Please join us in fellowship with one another so that we may lift each other and All Saints school, faculty, and students up in prayer. Young children are welcomed and encouraged to join. Let us set an example for our little disciples.

If you have any questions contact Pam Rensi at [email protected].

Join us for the 6th Annual All Saints Alumni Basketball Tournament immediately following the JV postseason tournament at All Saints on Saturday, March 10, 2018.

Last year, we welcomed more than 60 alumni, who participate in a series of games, and we crowned the combined Classes of 2009-2013 as tournament champs. They defeated the Class of 2014 in the finals. In the consolation game, the Class of 2015 defeated the Class of 2016 to take bronze.

Regardless of skill level, everyone is welcome to participate - or cheer on - in this co-ed event. The number of games scheduled will depend on the number of responses.

If you are interested in playing this year, please RSVP online at www.allsaintscs.com/tourney. All are welcome!

Calling All Alumni...

In first grade, students have been learning about Early American Civilizations including the Mayans. One of our 1st grade families recently traveled to Mexico and learned all about how modern day Mayans lived. Mr. Phan came in and gave a presentation to the whole first grade about the trip - including Mayan religious traditions, currency, cultural dances, and even sports they played! The students were very engaged and excited to learn about it!

Seventh grader Connor Kirkwood recently put his creativity to work and showcased the All Saints Catholic School academic crest... made out of legos!
