Struggling to Understand Suicide-Sat. April 6 This retreat will be held on Saturday, April 6 from 9:00 am to 2:30 pm. There is not a full understanding of suicide, but this day will allow for an open discussion and hopefully will bring some healing to those who have lost a loved one or a friend be-cause of suicide. Dr. Louis Gamino, a Clinical Psychologist at Baylor Scott & White Medical Center and Professor of Psychia-try & Behavioral Science at Texas A & M University will pre-sent a two-hour lecture. Beverly Collin and Brian Egan will share some healing reflections and Franciscan Father Albert Haase will celebrate mass with the Anointing of the sick. Special Collection Next Sunday March 31 The Catholic Relief Services Collection supports Catholic Church organizations that carry out international relief and soli-darity efforts. Programs include relief and resettlement for vic-tims of persecution, war, and natural disasters, development projects to improve living conditions for the poor; legal and sup-port services for poor immigrants; peace and reconciliation work for people suffering from violence; and advocacy on behalf of the powerless.
