VESTRY

A ROMAN CATHOLIC PRIEST’S PRESENTATION

ARCHITECTS: -Alonso de Covarrubias (Head Architect of the Diocese of Toledo in 1549.)-Juan Gómez de Mora (Head Architect of Madrid in 1618).

ORIGIN: built over an ancient Mudéjar style church dating from the middle of XIV century.

They started building it in 1549 and finished in 1770.

It became a Cathedral in 1991 after being established as Diocese of Getafe.
