Next Month’s Plans:
Claire our new activities co-ordinator starts with us and she has many ideas
and plans
On the 7th December we held an Elf Day at Cathedral which included
a cake sale. All staff joined in as well as the residents and families.
The cakes didn’t last very long as you can imagine and most were
bought and eaten by the staff
There was also a very mischievous elf that day; we can all
guess who that was.................

Residents spent a few days’ wreaths making for table decorations.
Staff went to collect greenery from the garden and each resident
chose their own decorations including lots of glitter
Christmas Activities
Eva Long productions joined us on Tuesday 18th December to
perform Aladdin which was followed with Christmas carols and a
Party

along with crackers
and Hats. Also a few
jokes along the way

Christmas and a Happy New Year
Our Manager Tina has an open door policy and welcomes visitors to Cathedral.
If you have any concerns or complaints please do not hesitate to contact her.
She is available Monday-Friday 8.30am-4pm

Welcome:
We would like to say welcome to our new
activities coordinator Claire, who will be
starting with us in January and we look forward
to all her plans, ideas and activities
Regular activities:
Monday: Tracey our Hairdresser comes to the
home to ensure all the Ladies and Gentleman
are looking and feeling good
6 Weekly: Ben our Chiropodist takes care of all
the residents’ feet
Monday to Friday: Activities Person organises
activities, these include Arts and Crafts, Mobile
Library, Manicures and Baking
We also have Companies come into our Home
to entertain our residents these include Animal
Petting, Singers and Pantomimes
