The Altar Society meets the third Thursday, of each month at 6:00 PM in the Portier House.

Knights of Columbus The Cathedral Parish Council of the Knights of Columbus Meeting will be on the second Wednesday of each month at 7:00 PM in the Cathedral Rectory.
RCIA CLASSES RCIA Classes will resume on September 6th at 6pm in the Cathedral Rectory CHOIR PRACTICE Choir practice is held each Wednesday begin-ning at 7:00 PM in the choir room of the Cathedral Rec-tory. Mass On Thanksgiving Day will be at 9:00 AM: There will be no 12:10pm Mass on Thanksgiving Christmas Flowers: Each year parishioners and visitors to the Cathedral are invited to participate in helping defer the cost of the flowers for Christmas through donating to the annual Christmas Flower Fund. Also, you can kindly include loved ones, both living and deceased on the space provide on the donation envelope you will find in the pews. You can kindly place the donation envelope in the col-lection basket or drop off at the Cathedral Office or you can mail to the Cathedral Office. We will need the names by Saturday, December 17 to include in the Christmas Weekend Bulletin and to place the names on the altar to remember during our Christmas Season Masses. The Annual Archdiocesan Celebration of Christ the King will be held on Sunday, November 20, 2016, beginning at 10:30 a.m. in Bienville Square . Following the opening prayer, all may join in the Christ the King procession, where members will re-cite the Holy Rosary while processing west on Dau-phin Street to Cathedral Square. Mass will begin at 11:00 a.m. here at the Cathedral. During Mass, Archbishop Rodi will confer the annual Christ the King Medal to those selected by their pastor to be recognized for their exemplary service to the parish community.
