Wisconsin Engineering Today

Wisconsin Engineering was founded in 1991 as an engineering design office, in Sheboygan, Wiscon-sin. We reached an agreement with several world-renown manufacturer of lawn mowers to offer Wisconsin Engineering-built machines as the flagship of their European product range.

In 1998, Wisconsin Engineering purchased part of the former Agrostroj Prostejov in the Czech Repub-lic to manufacture several products subsequently sold under some of the most prestigious brands in the industry.

Our current home has a proud tradition of manufacturing and product excellence dating back over 110 years. The complex was founded in the 1880’s as one of the first engine and tractor production facilities in the Austro-Hungarian Empire, and has remained a leading center for development and manufacturing small and mid size tractors and implements.

Today, Wisconsin Engineering is an independent, family owned manufacturer of premium quality, high performance products supplying tractors and components all over the globe.

We have over 200 dedicated professionals in over 270 000 sq. ft. of manufacturing, office, and ware-housing space, supporting two primary business activities: (1) design, manufacture and distribution of tractors and power equipment, and (2) contract fabrication services.

In all of our products, our aim is to deliver superior value through advanced design and technol-ogy - advanced features, high performance, and exceptional durability. Our long term goal is to make the Wisconsin Engineering brand name recognized for excellent equipment and satisfied customers.

Makes it easy to access the underside of mower, tractor, snow blower or ATV for service and maintenance. Simply park the machine on the lift frame, and with a few smooth, effortless turns of the easy turn handle, the machine is raised, safely and securely.

Old Fashioned Tractor Design

The “big back wheel” con-figuration works well for big

tractors farming fields, but is a laregely useless artifact from

days long gone as far as com-pact utility tractors go.

Modern Tractor Design

Our tractors represent an evo-lution - not a continuation - in

utility tractor design.

We’ve designed these tractors from the ground up with the

goal of eliminating the design flaws of conventional utility

tractors.

POOR STABILITY

Top heavy design make these tractors easy to tip. Disproportionately small front wheels compound already significant stability pro-blems. The net effect is that the machines are limited in where they can go safely.

ADVANCED CHASSIS DESIGN

These tractor’s frames flex to adapt to une-ven terrain. This significantly improves stabi-lity, handling, and implement control, and re-duces ground compaction. Also our tractors stand out with a low center of gravity.

LIMITED PTO OPTIONS

Mid and front PTO options, if available, tend to be expensive, and practically limit you to a particular manufacturers product offering, which can be very expensive, and limited in scope.

ENHANCED VERSATILITY

Some implements are more practical to use on the front of the machine, others on the rear. Standardized hitch & PTO options for the front and rear lets you use the virtually limitless number of implements available.

LARGE SIZE

Physically large tractors are harder to mane-uver, and may not fit everywhere you need to go. They require more storage space and take up more room on a trailer.

COMPACT DIMENSIONS

Smaller machines are easier to drive, and are more nimble, particularly in confined spaces. They fit on a sidewalk, through most gates, and fit in your average garage without problem.

Drive Systems

The drive system for commercial mowing and compact tractor applications is one of the least glamorous, but one of the most important element of a successful design.

A fully laden commercial mower, for example, can weigh as much as a small car and gets subjected to much harsher use. Our chassis can work in tough environment many years without failure.

Need a proven,reliable solution?

Stripped Chassis

Unlike most utility tractors, Wisconsin Engineering tractors are based on modular design rather than a monolithic con-struction. Modifications can typically be made without costly re-tooling expenses and remain feasible for low volumes.

Independent steel frames makes it much easier to add fe-atures such as brackets, holes, and custom assemblies as welding on different components is more manageable for lo-wer volumes than changing a suppliers casting.

Our chassis and drive systems have been designed, tested, and refined to deal with vari-ous issues of daily operation.

In particular, rapid forward-re-verse cycles with a fully-load-ed machine on dry concrete puts a huge strain on every component involved, as does bouncing over curbs and holes.

It’s a tough environment, and yet these machines are expect-ed to work without fail for many years.
