DOEF & DOPFDROP-OUT FUSE SWITCHESUP TO 36kVSwitch OverviewThe type DOEF fuse switch uses a rewirable dropout expulsion fuse. The type DOPF fused switch uses a cartridge based current limiting fuse.

This range of equipment provides reliable and cost-effective protection of distribution lines and transformers, while also offering a visual indicator as to the status of operation and disconnection from supply.

Each single pole fuse switch unit can be operated from the ground using an optional multi-section, portable fibreglass operating pole. Available in 1.2m sections, the poles are available to suit a wide range of applications (full details available in catalogue OP/15).

INSULATORSOur disconnectors and switches are available with porcelain or composite insulators. M.L.E. standard insulators for a given service voltage generally have higher electrical values than those contained in both IEC 60694 (expulsion fuses) and IEC 60282 (powder fuses), based on practice in most European and several other countries.
