Tecnica designs trail running footwear in cooperation with athletes, developing design and constructing systems originating from a specific study of trail runners needs.Key technologies like the TRS and the Wrap&Free are systems integrating sole and upper, aimed solely to better and boost athletic performance. Nowadays these technologies are outdated even in the category hiking Tecnica, that is, the products more generically called multifunction, intended for more cross uses, like rambling, short walks at medium and hilly heights. In this case the Tecnica technological excellencies are intended for a wide and less extreme public, that pays particular attention to comfort and components of endurance and protection, to face grounds and changing security circumstances.

Tecnica Rolling System expresses a dimensional relationship equal to 2/3 and 1/3. From this relationship derive 3 areas with different features depending on the different phases of foot motions. The rear area of the footwear sole equal to 2/3 is indeed the wider one and one of total contact with the ground. This area in the first part ensures a better impact absorption, and in the second part it allows a natural and constant motion of the foot. This large area of contact with the ground allows a greater fluidity of rolling and the forward transmission of the energy, because of a lack of interruptions. The anterior area of maximum rolling equal to 1/3 of the footwear sole instead permits to maximize the propulsion, optimizing the vertical performance. TRS has been designed in collaboration with the Sports Science Lab at Rovereto CEbISm has demonstra-ted the clear performance benefits of the TRS system for outdoor athletes. CEbISm is a leading Italian Research Center for Bioengineering and Motor Sciences that fosters, supports, and conducts research projects for public and private institutions including the Italian Olympic Organization.

It was created within the Innovation Center Tecnica, which shoots for meeting athletes specific needs, relatively to each single part of the foot, projecting technical customi-zed solutions for them. all Tecnica footwear are designed for a functionality aimed at performance, in fact the distinctive design elements always reflect a specific technology.Wrap&Free System is once again the declination of being deSIgNed To peRFoRM It is an innovative concept intended to guarantee support, hold and maximum comfort in those affected parts; during athletic performance from Trail Running to hiking, but even in lighter performance situations.

The wrap zone comes from architectonic geometrical structure bridge-like, that envelops the foot in the central part, and it is designed to guarantee maximum stability, fastening adjustment and precision in performance.

The area close to the collar and the one next to the instep, highli-ght a construction of a de-structured design, light and flexible, intended for maximum comfort and lightness.
