The streamlined aerodynamic profile with concave internal cross section at the top of the hoop provides superior aerodynamics and increased main string length. This powerful fusion increases the sweet spot size and moves it closer to the tip of the racket to deliver increased elastic power enhanced by faster racket head speed for unstoppable shot speed.

Hybrid power properties of an oval cross section in the head with the stability and comfort of a box section in the shaft portion of the racket helps provide more power than previous models without loss of control.

The conical tapered shaft delivers outstanding racket resilience and enhances overall racket stiffness. This powerful combination gives the shaft greater energy return on impact for increased whipping power.

Pocketed grommets and a more aerodynamic cross section in the racket hoop make the new geometries more aerodynamic than previous models helping to increase racket head speed.

BIOMIMETIC TECHNOLOGIES

Inspired by the wear resistant self lubricating properties of snake skin, Dunlop has engineered a revolutionary new polymer featuring a microscopic lubricant MoS2. This increases grommet durability by 40% and reduces string friction by 27% delivering more string movement for enhanced power and spin.

Stronger than steel and lighter than carbon, Dunlop has extracted the stem fibres from plants and woven them into the shaft portion of the racket. On ball impact this natural fibrous structure actively filters shockwaves by 18% to provide a cleaner more solid hit than conventional all composite construction.

Squash racket manufacture has improved dramatically in recent years resulting in stronger, lighter frames becoming more readily available to players of all standards.

With a wealth of knowledge and vast experience of over 80 years in the industry, Dunlop has entered a new era in racket design by evolving our best selling frames to deliver explosive power whilst maintaining the touch and control which has seen so much success over the past decade.

All of the conventional Biomimetic rackets feature the new and exclusive GTS Upgrade.

By optimising the racket cross sections throughout the hoop, a more aerodynamic profile is produced to deliver enhanced racket head speed and manoeuvrability offering fantastic all-round performance. A more curvaceous profile has been incorporated in to the shaft of the rackets allowing players to generate awesome power without the usual discomfort and dull vibrations.

Rackets that feature the GTS Upgrade also include relevant technologies that have been developed specifically to improve the playability for each model. The evolved geometry and frame cross sections are perfectly complimented by the integration of new technologies to offer ground breaking shot penetration with minimal effort.

Every racket has been designed to offer a specific playability and through meticulous experimentation of carbon fibre layups combined with a variety of weights and balances, each individual racket features the ideal specification for ultimate performance.

HEAD SHAPE ANATOMY

BIOMIMETIC RACKET SELECTOR

Every player is different so selecting the right racket can sometimes be difficult. Dunlop offer 3 different types of racket head shapes and the guide below will help make the selection process easier:Closed Throat / Conventional: The main distinguishable feature of these rackets is the triangular shaped throat piece, located between the head of the racket and the shaft. Closed throat rackets have a smaller, more dense string bed which in turn provides a reduced sweet spot size and is suited to more experienced players seeking improved precision and control.

Open Throat / Teardrop: Open throat rackets do not include a triangular throat piece like that seen on Open throat rackets; the head of the racket is directly connected to the shaft. The main benefit of this head shape is the larger sweet spot size as a result of the increased main string length and is suited to players seeking excellent power and improved consistency.

Hybrid: Hybrid frames are the result of combining geometry from both open throat and closed throat rackets. Hybrid frames retain the teardrop shape as featured on open throat rackets but also include a small triangular shaped throat piece as seen on closed throat rackets. The outcome is a racket which offers a good blend of power and control and is suited for players seeking all round playability.
