¡BIENVENIDOS AL III INTERNATIONAL YOUTH FILM FESTIVAL PLASENCIA ENCORTO!

Sin ninguna duda, el festival “International Youth Film Festival Plasencia Encorto” se ha con-solidado como uno de los eventos culturales más importante tanto en el ámbito nacional como en el internacional. Así lo constata la presentación de los más de 250 trabajos procedentes de 37 países.

Todos tenemos una misma afición: el amor por el cine. Además de disfrutar viendo películas, también realizamos trabajos audiovisuales junto a nuestros alumnos, junto a nuestros profesores. Elaboramos guiones, interpretamos papeles, dirigimos y editamos los trabajos y ahora los com-partimos.

Deseamos que disfrutéis de las proyecciones, de los talleres, de las actividades culturales que tenemos programadas para vosotros y, por supuesto, intentad promover los valores de convi-vencia, el respeto, el trabajo en equipo y también disfrutar de esta pasión que nos une a todo: ‘EL CINE’.

Os damos la bienvenida. Esperamos que paséis unos días inolvidables en nuestra agradable ciudad, Plasencia, en nuestra maravillosa Comunidad, Extremadura. There is no doubt that the “International Youth Film Festival Plasencia Encorto”, has become one of the most important national and international cultural events. In fact, we have received more than 250 entries from 37 different countries.

We all have the same hobby: love for cinema. We enjoy not only watching movies, but also we perform audiovisual works with our students and our teachers. We elaborate scripts, we play roles, we direct and edit the whole works and now we share all of them with you.

We wish you enjoy the movies, the workshops, the cultural events we have planned for you and, of course, try to promote the values of living together, respect and teamwork and also enjoy this same passion: CINEMA.

We welcome you. We hope you spend some unforgettable days here in our nice city Plasencia, in our wonderful Community, Extremadura. We want you to have a special stay, make new friends and learn as much as we will learn from you. That is for sure!

Unfortu-nately, the little stickman in the newspaper does not agree at all and jumps just beside the poem, crosses out the verses and tears out headlines that contradict the message of Hopkins’ work. The headlines symbolizing the bad news of the last years drop on the floor from where they are blown away by the wind. SINOPSIS: “Nada es tan hermoso como la primavera”, es como Hopkins comienza su poema “Primavera”, que entra en éxtasis describiéndola. Por desgracia, el pequeño monigote en el periódico no está de acuerdo y salta justo al lado del poema. Tacha los versos y arranca los titulares que contradicen el mensaje de la obra de Hopkins.
