The Akrapovič Custom Range for Harley-Davidsons is aimed at Harley riders who are looking for a bit more exclusivity: riders who appreciate fine European craftsmanship, outstanding performance, design, and of course the unmistakable deep resonant sound of Akrapovič.

Akrapovič is the leading manufacturer of premium exhaust systems for motorcycles and performance cars. It is also a leader in carbon fibre parts and the innovative use of titanium.Akrapovič exhaust systems are known for their impact on performance, their lightness, durability and sound.

Founded by former motorcycle racer Igor Akrapovič twenty-one years ago in Slovenia, the company has grown to international prominence through its successful support of leading racing teams. To date over sixty world champions have achieved success with Akrapovič exhaust systems. The company operates out of state-of-the-art factories in Slovenia, employing 500 people and distributing its products in more than sixty countries.

At the heart of our business is our state-of-the-art factory in Ivančna Gorica, Slovenia. The advantages our technology, our processes and our passionate employees bring to the world of custom are explained in the following pages.

THE BEST MATERIALS.

We only use the best materials. For our custom range we use the best quality austenitic stainless steel, chrome plating, and silicone-based black powder painting.

ADVANCED TECHNOLOGY.

We are pioneers in developing and using technology to bring real benefits to the rider. Technology and its applications are developed in-house. Hydroforming is one such process, where header tubes are molded by applying pressurized water. The material forms the ideal shape for optimum exhaust flow, with no loss in strength. We are recognized as pioneers in the plastic deformation of titanium alloys and also in precision welding.

STATE-OF-THE-ART FACTORY.

All Akrapovič facilities are state-of-the-art, where quality control is maintained by designing and manufacturing all exhaust systems in-house. This enables the creation of exhaust tubes to our own demanding specifications for maximum performance and quality. In-house laboratories ensure that the most exacting standards are met for type approval and certification.

Make Your Own Sound.With our Slip-On Line you can adjust the sound with our unique valve system. Check out the difference it makes by visiting www.akrapovic-custom.com.Make the sound you want for your ride with an easy manual adjustment. The switch is mounted on the left side on the bike and can be activated while riding. The valve system is activated mechanically with a cable. We use an investment cast stainless steel housing with high-temperature graphite bearings, approved again and again. Wherever you set it, you can be sure the unmistakable deeply resonant sound of Akrapovič will tell people you have arrived.

Catalytic ConverterAkrapovič is using a performance-oriented catalytic converter where you get all the sound and performance upgrades you’re used to with an Akrapovič exhaust system.The catalytic converter is a honeycomb metal structure that incorporates precious metals (palladium, rhodium, and platinum) into its surface. These metals convert the poisonous carbon monoxide and unburned hydrocarbons found in exhaust gases into nontoxic carbon dioxide and water vapor.
