These stockings provide a strong and reliable tensile connection when they are fixed to the cable, rope or pipe front end. When rou-ting through cable channels, open trenches, on trays or other instal-lations – this mesh of galvanized steel strands, closed on one side

and fitted with a respective clamp and thimble, have a specials arrange of the mesh sizes (relative to the respective diameter) ensure a high flexibility and ad-hesion on the material to be inserted and thereby an unproblematic insertion.

Here three insertion stockings made of galvanized steel strands are joined in a compression clamp and are fitted with a single thimble – so this triple stocking can be used to take up three cables individually (e.g. single line cables) and pulling them in a single pull without any

Cable stockings with two thimbles or eyelets attached by compressi-on are available in a version with both ends open or in an open weave with one side completely open. These are used for pulling and transporting any kind of heavy cables or pipes.

The stockings open at both ends have the advantage against the ones open at only one end that the cable or pipe can extend beyond the stocking at either end between the eyes or thimbles. The stockings that open on the side can be placed on any position over a pipe or cable and then be laced up and tightened using two strand ties.

These stockings are designed for joining cables or ropes with the same diameter and without a lot of twist. This way it is, for examp-le, possible to change crane ropes in one run or to include two cable lengths at once. In case of incre-ased torsion of the cables etc. we

recommend using single stockings together with re-spective whirl shackles to compensate for the twist. This mesh of galvanized steel braids is woven with two strands, open on both ends and has no eyelets.

Overhead cable insertion stockings are used for the efficient pulling of copper, aluminium and steel-aluminium ropes in overland cable construction. The specially woven mesh of triple strands guarantees maximum safety and force-fitting to the material to be pulled. The flexi-

Developed especially (but not exclusively) for use in wind energy installations, especially in the field of loop cables. Strain-relief suspen-sion of the movable cables and wires with the highest possible protection factor. Due to the special coating, this stocking protects the cable perfectly but also prevents severalstockings from getting caught up (when

properly installed) with one another as much as possible. The special plastic of the coating also contributes to the fire protection within the area of the cable suspensions. This ex-tremely flexible, hand braided stocking is also provided with a coated flexible rope eyelet. Due to this stocking being space efficient it can easily be mounted almost anywhere. The lighter weaving of these sto-ckings makes them lighter and ea-sier to handle. Nevertheless, they are the safest and most efficient fastening medium for free-hanging cables and ropes. In switching ca-binets, antenna systems, transfor-mers, machinery or lift systems, the

strain-relief and stress-free suspension with no risk of lead breaks with the pressed-on flexible eyelet is the best choice. Forget conventional clamp and bra-cket fastening; make use of the better system.

Because modern cables and lines in communication, electrical instal-lations and broadband applications are becoming lighter all the time, these stockings are the indispen-sable assistants for the installation engineers. No complicated knotting of wires or strands to a pull line –
