ABOUT US P.A.B. ROMANIA Ltd. ARAD Trading Company, located in Arad, no. 8 Iustin Marsieu Street, registered at the Chamber of Commerce under no. J02/35/93, fiscal code RO 3513698 is a Romanian company with a joint stock of 1.500.000.RON.

The main field of activity of the society is manufacturing commercial, industrial, agricultural buildings, civil buildings of general interest, entertainment and sports places.

Our delivery services cover the entire spectrum of activities from simple manufacturing (as a specialist entrepreneur) to the complete delivery of the project, along with the full range of services such as design, preconstruction and manufacturing to the expiration of the warranty of projects.

During the 20 years working in construction, our experience can be summarized:

3,000,000 sqrm of built area, over 1,200 hectares of land surfaces arranged approximately 10,800,000 cubic meters of soil excavated and transported and about same amount of filling material over 1.5 million cubic meters of concrete and 14.400.000 kg of steel reinforcements more than 120.000 tones of metallic structure

The society is concerned with designing, manufacturing and assembling metallic and concrete constructions, manufacturing closing perimeters and roofs with or without thermal and hydro insulation as well as floors and industrial platforms, preparing the land, draining, damming, land stabilization and pouring concrete, asphalt and any other processing of land.

The constructive solutions adopted confer a vast range of advantages. They are modern solutions confirmed and implemented by our prior experience gained in time.

Some of the advantages are: quick manufacture, long lasting, low maintenance expenses, thermal and acoustic insulation as well as a nice design of the building.

The company disposes of 720 employees divided into different departments which form a very well organized unit.

The company has collaboration agreements with the authorized testing laboratories in the surroundings of works in progress.

The technical equipment park that our company has in endowment is various starting with mini-excavators, telescopic trucks, frontal cranes, excavators on wheels and caterpillar excavators, compacting cylinders, bulldozers, motor cranes, diesel motor and electric self-lifting platforms, equipments of low and high mechanization, means of travel for the stuff, motor trucks for transporting materials, the newest motor layouts which confer high productivity.

The experience acquired in time in adopting modern qualitative solutions, as well as the performance of each department and high productivity of the motor park triggered about the steady increase of the social investment of the company. It reached 1.500.000. RON in 2007, having the following turnovers in the last 3 years:

The materials used by our society in achieving the targets are from producers worldwide known for the quality they assure. The seriousness proven in dealing with foreign companies has led to a good collaboration and priority for the deliveries requested by our company.

PAB experience stretches over a wide range of projects. We have never specialized in a certain market, simply because our work has been determined by the needs of our beneficiaries. From simple metal closures suitable for industrial halls, composite panels to the most sophisticated systems of ventilated walls with thermal insulation and acoustic performance, we approach the delivery of complete packages of closings for constructions in all areas: commercial, industrial, civil buildings of general interest, sports and recreation, etc... Using materials that satisfy the highest demands of quality or proper for sophisticated and demanding aesthetic creations we offer our and our partners’ services that satisfy your most exquisite demands.

Elements of the facade or interior joinery are all part of the packet of closings that you want. Whether simple doors and windows, curtain walls or complete systems for modern facades in combination with our plating systems, you can request the entire range of joinery items for your building.

Together with our partners we provide our knowledge concerning design and delivery of complete electrical installation systems, ventilation and air handling, plumbing, sewage disposals for waste water and pluvial water, water treatment stations, fire protection and fire-fighting, and, in case, other systems that would complete the functionality of the building that you desire.

DESIGNING

Working with our own designers or cooperating with independent designers or employed by our beneficiaries, we have the experience of managing large projects and of high complexity. The works executed on the entire spectrum of the construction market have created in time an informational basis meant to provide real data for both an economically efficient design, but also in terms of energy consumption and comfort level of buildings, optimal depending on their destination.

PRECONSTRUCTION SERVICES

PAB offers a wide range of services in the preconstruction phase - as an important building company should do. The desire for continuous improvement has guided us in developing some processes and progressive and precise tools for evaluating the results of our future work. Although our services vary depending on the method we deliver the project, on the market demands as well as on each client’s demands, there are stable aspects, and these are the results detailed, accurate and complete data that allow to make decisions with full knowledge of the facts and to have total control over costs and schedule of works from beginning to end.

CONSTRUCTION

During the construction phase of a project, even if this is a new commercial space or a new factory PAB brings to the site experienced builders with solid knowledge, acting on the full interest of the recipient and interacting with the team of designers during the entire period of construction. The services offered by PAB during the construction phase can be grouped into several categories:

COMPLETING THE WORKS

PAB can be proud of the swiftness in achieving their projects. The closing process begins the very first day when our teams of specialists identify the elements required by the final accomplishment of the works, continuing so that nothing remains incomplete. At the beginning we draw up a checklist of construction elements to be monitored - using a computerized data basis drew up on the PAB experience of millions of built and arranged square meters in order to accomplish the project completely. We end the construction by closing the site and following the bearing of the project by the end of the warranty.

DELIVERY METHODS

Irrespective of the delivery method, the approach to each project is the same – that of an undisputed leader in safety procedures, quality and project management, with the stated aim to surpass your expectations. Each beneficiary can choose a different method of delivery, which is best, suited for the planning, designing and the building he wants. We have the experience of a full scale of methods, ranging from simple auctions for construction contracts (in which case PAB has no involvement in the design phase) to the delivery of complete projects (when PAB plays a decisive role beginning with the early design process until the carrying out of the last guarantees).

THE LUMP SUM CONTRACT

PAB signs a lump sum contract for a global amount (flat-rate) in exchange for the construction services it offers, as a result of auctions based on the contract documents supplied by the customer.

PROJECT MANAGEMENT

PAB is committed to achieve the preconstruction and construction phase, without actually constructing with their own staff. Subcontracts are owned by the beneficiary. While carrying out the project, PAB is involved with the beneficiary, architects and consultants beginning with the design and construction until the investment is operational and taken hold off by the beneficiary. In time PAB services have diversified offering our customers a complete control over: costs, execution schedule, feasibility of projects, quality of executed works and guarantees.

GENERAL ENTREPRENEUR

PAB completes the works and services in the preconstruction and construction phase of the project, which are granted as a result of auctions and contract negotiations and executes on its own strength a big part of these works. PAB can make with its staff a great variety of civil works and structural ones, steel and concrete structures, all types of works of closing, as well as finishing and equipment assembly. By performing the most critical phases of the construction by its own, PAB exercises a maximum control over costs, program and execution quality issues. All subcontracts are held by PAB, so the execution schedule as well as the costs is guaranteed.

PROJECT MANAGEMENT & GENERAL ENTREPRENEUR

PAB performs a combination of the two methods described above - both the project management and the general contracting of the works performed. From the management of works in the preconstruction phase to the accomplishment with the own staff of the most important works during the construction phase PAB controls the project from the very beginning to its end. The guarantee concerning quality execution within the deadline and the budget is maximum.

ASSISTING DESIGN

PAB provides an extensive team of specialists within different areas to help design teams in their efforts. Our focus is on connecting all subcontractors with designers to find the best solutions that satisfy all the needs of the beneficiary

DESIGN & CONSTRUCTION

PAB concludes a single contract, which includes all services for planning, design, construction and implementation of a project. From the draught to the actual functioning of the objective the responsibility and the guarantee are total.

INTEGRATED PROJECTS

PAB closes a settlement with the customer, design team and teams of builders, to have a cooperation that allows a share of benefits when the project objectives are achieved. Truly sustainable features, such as solar solutions and Nature Roof provide the perfect finishing touches to the unique Kalzip range.

The new and innovative Kalzip-FC facade system offers architects and designers a flexible and economical solution for coating walls both for new buildings and renovation projects. The innovative fixing and flexible bidirectional assembly system are the new features added by this system to the already known metal ventilated facades.
