History of De Gier... The beginning of men’s footwear creation by De Gier dates back to 1935. We rely on the teaching of 4 generations to devo-te to our shoes. We use our long history to add value to our shoes, since already a lot of knowledge was absorbed in its production over the years.

YOUR PERSONAL REQUEST…..

You can request infinitely unique details, colors and sty-les. Our highly skilled master craftsmen then MAKE the shoe according to the Bespoke Clients specifications and precise measurements, balancing the aesthetic wishes with the shape of the foot. We also can provide deep insights to create a masterpiece of the highest quality.

The process starts with a series of foot measurements and consultations. The client chooses all details for the shoe including the type of leather, design, toe shape, heel height, sole material, or his own monogram if he wishes.

Following the first measurement appointment, the shape of the foot is sculpted in Portugal. The second appoint-ment with the client is required to try a mock-up of the shoe. This allows the craftsman to further refine the pre-cision of the last that will be used to create all of your future wishes.
